No gloves or mask worn by cook. Outside of establishment there is a sign on window stating masks required. It’s time to follow covid 19 guidelines, restaurant staff. Made the mistake of driving out of my way thinking restaurant was Mexico, and it was not. Food was so so & very bland. What saved the chicken was the barbecue sauce provided by my friend. I ate about a 1/4 of meal. How can your restaurant not even provide water to diabetic customers? I wouldn’t feed this food to my worst enemy. My dog even put his nose up after smelling it and walked away. Taco came with a lime as seasoning or sauce. Gross. Will I return to this restaurant? I don’t think so. This is my first and last time eating at your establishment. I wish your restaurant all the best..

The ladies in the kitchen seem to speak mainly/only Spanish so be advised. My g/f and I enjoy the food and horchata. Decent prices. Only a few tables inside with a handful of bar stools at the counter where people also put in their orders. Good food, great horchata, no frills.

They treat you like a husband or son. Straight up spanish thing. Flirt with the ladies while they cook your food...its great. I eat here twice a month because my Barber is next door .

I was craving Latin cuisine and after seeing good reviews for this restaurant on yelp and google, I decided to pop by for lunch. The food is affordable and absolutely delicious! I ordered pupusasfrijol con queso and a Chicken and Steak quesadilla just to stay on the safe side. This was regrettable bc it was so good, I wished I had tried more on the menu! I'll definitely be returning and this time w/my family!

The food is good im not going to bash that but the customer service is terrible the girls are only kind to guys. They are stuck up! I went in with $20 like i always do to order the same thing everytime. But this time whenshe rung it up it was $24 for 10 pupusas and a burrito so I said take off the burrito dont want it anymore. Then the 10 pupusas were $17. So i went to the car and told my friend who is paying by the way since we take turns to pay to go back cause she was not paying for that since one of us was not going to eat. So i took it back But I tried to return it and it took them 20 min. To get the money back then the owner criticized me about waisting her food. Wow the nerve of the lady and she tried to explain why it was 24 and i understood taxes are involved i get it but I didnt want it anymore it wasnt my money to decide. She told me that how can i do this to her and that to not come again. The nerve of her saying i cant do this to her like if I owed her anything.They dont have to waste the food there are so many homless people out here to feed and so many programs that they can look into for them not to wast food. I guess people are that greedy for money that they will say anything to not make themselves look bad. How do you go back and forth with a customer that is returning something and try to make them the bad person for not wanting there food. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional. Plus yes i have been there more then once and yes they have been rude before but there food is good thats why i never wrote a review before but now with what happened i definatly wanted to right a review.

Our 1st time going to Nellys after seeing a rating of 4 1/2 stars we were ready for some good food. What we got was a thoroughly disgusting food prep experience. Staff grabbed raw chicken then stuck her hand in a container of water then raw beef, never once using soap or gloves. Then she made the tortillas with her hands after sticking them in the same water that she had stuck her hands in after grabbing the raw chicken. There were no hair nets. The other issue was my wife ordered a chicken stew. They cooked the chicken in the microwave. The rice and beans came out of the refridgerator and were also warmed in the microwave. $30.00 dollars later and the food to gross to eat. The girl who took the order spoke very little english, left before the food was finished and the young lady who finished cooking our food spoke no english at all. We would have tried to get our money back but communication was impossible. My advice is pass on this place.my Rating would be negative 3 stars!!!

Super delicious pupusas! Not made in a Mexican restaurant. Salvadoran 100%. I first discovered pupusas in Salt Lake City many years ago in a family owned place right next to where I lived. I never thought I'd see them as good as that. These are that good! Hit this place up for your pupusa fix.

An American who had not tried this cafe, my El Salvadoran friend invited. Friendly, fast service, and singing artist. Food tasty and prices reasonable.

Place is really hole in the wall, but that's what makes it unique. Everything here is pretty reasonably priced, and the quality of food is good and not lacking in quantity. Casual atmosphere.

Tried calling. They answered, I tried asking a question about something in their menu. The other woman on the line cut me off in the middle of my question and said, "No" and just hung up on me. I tried calling back giving the benefit of the doubt that the line may have just cut off. But as I tried calling again twice, they just let their phone ring and ignored my call. If you want to be treated like this, then go ahead and come to this place. Customer service is horrible.
