Nelson Electric provides commercial, industrial, residential, and low voltage system electrical work.
Since 1972 Nelson Electric has served as one of the premier electrical contractors in Northern Nevada. We are owned by Lloyd Nelson , a long time resident of the Reno Sparks area. Lloyd completed his apprenticeship training program in 1963 and after working for another local contractor he opened Nelson Electric.
Nelson Electric specializes in all phases of electrical work, including residential, commercial, and industrial His expansion in 1984 to include a systems division afforded him the opportunity to offer CCTV, computer, telephone, fire alarm and sound system installations in all types of commercial and residential applications.
Nelson Electric is currently being operated by Lloyd's children with Lisa Teglia being the new General Manager, Robbie Nelson is the Lead Estimator and Jeff Nelson is our Operations Manager. Lloyd still oversees the operations on an advisory basis and is enjoying his "partial retirement".
