A real exceptional gem in the middle of Paris. The design, location and food is exceptional compared to other similar categories of Cafes and restaurants. You cannot miss the greeneries surrounding it. I personally enjoyed much my time on breakfast on a sunny day. Pass by for at least a coffee.
Nice restaurant with cozy atmosphere. They serve one of the best onion soups in the city. Another good point is that the kitchen works even after 10pm . So you could eat something not just drink. Unfortunately, the service is pretty slow
I've walked by this place many times, and envied the comfy chairs and cute atmosphere. Near a lot of trees, which is rare for Paris. The glace was like a lemonade – not complaining about that at all as an American. Aura really nice, attentive, super friendly staff willing to speak in both French & English. Will come again!
A great surprise: Warm and beautiful design in a quiet setting right on the Halles gardens and a view on the Bourse; Excellent food, full of fresh flavours and interesting combinations; pleasant and thoughtful waiters which we sadly did not know how to tip without cash... And you'll want to head downstairs to wash your hands !! I'll be going back on a next visit to Paris.
After having dinner, we ask for a cheesecake to take away. Until arriving home we notice the conditions in which they gave me the food. It was a very used box, which had still leftovers of other food. Really not hygienic at all!
Fast service and lots of outdoor seating. The artichoke and the meat platter was good. Reasonable prices
Excellent restaurant! Friendly staff who are understanding to people who are not fluent in French. Food was EXCELLENT. Great location with an outside, downstairs and upstairs. This was the only place we returned to twice on our trip.
Some great people. Amazing toilets, but Visited during the day for coffee, service was awful, the coffee 4.5 euros in a dirty cup , disgusting instant coffee , served and I payed little later to leave, with not even question why I didn’t touch it. Maybe unlucky choice but still.. how wrong can you go with a simple coffee..
The ambience was cool, and the cocktails were decent, but the plate I got was overpriced and disgusting. I ordered the vegetarian grill barbecue for 26€ and this is all they gave me. TWENTY SIX EUROS for 2 slices of quinoa bread, a handful of cold green beans and half of a sliced tomato. I don’t know why this was listed under the barbecue section. Nothing was grilled, everything was cold and not the least bit filling. I barely ate a quarter of it. Definitely will not be going back.
Deapite the slightly lower ratings, we were really impressed with the quality of the food : the octopus was very well cooked, and the Paris Brest was one of the best we've had in France and huge!...
