The Neptune City Fire Department Cadet Program consists of young adults between the ages of 14 and 18 that want to learn the aspects of being a firefighter. The program allows young adults to learn the basic aspects of firefighting, the tools used, and CPR. Weekly meetings and drills are hosted throughout the year. Once a member turns 18, they will become a member of the fire company and go through the fire academy to officially become a firefighter.
