Mission Statement:
As sworn members of the New Milford Police Department, we will strive to protect our residents, their children, and their property, in a professional, objective, courteous, and compassionate manner. We will offer assistance and guidance to all citizens, throughout the day and throughout the night. We will perform our duty with pride, courage, commitment, and due diligence. We will perform our duty always and forever, despite increased calls for service, ominous weather conditions, or civil unrest. We will continue to be the standard for reason, stability, and justice. We will enforce Federal, State and Local laws. We will achieve this task independently, or by working closely with other law enforcement agencies.
