The purposes for which the Corporation is organized are:
a) To improve the status and condition of the membership, to assist members in securing adequate remuneration for their work and improving working conditions and by proper means to elevate the moral, intellectual and social condition of its members.
b) To promote and maintain a friendly and professional relationship between the New Paltz Police Department and the residents of the Town of New Paltz by organizing various civic and social activities which will promote the common good and general welfare of the residents of the Town.
