We are a resale shop that carries infant to adult clothing at a reasonable price. New to you is locate at 1521 Madison Avenue. Our Hours are Tuesday - Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm & Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Brands we carry are:

Consignor Information
Please read for it gives you information on what to expect with consigning with us!
To save time & effort, make sure you read this page before bringing items for consignment. We do our best to post on Facebook items we are currently accepting or only accepting on a limited basis. This will help you not bring items we are not accepting.
New To You Resale Shop, LLC thanks you for choosing to consign with us. We strive to make your consigning experience as hassle-free and profitable as is practical. Our relationship with you is a partnership in which we support and assist each other. Your suggestions and comments are always appreciated.
Consignment Criteria
At New To You Resale Shop, LLC, Providing quality items at affordable prices is our goal. We are selective based on condition, style, brand, and season. We limit acceptance to only items we feel will sell based on knowledge and experience in our marketplace and demographics!
1) New consignors must have an appointment to bring their items to the store for the first time. This allotted time allows us to create your account and talk with you about how consigning works at New To You Resale Shop, LLC. You will read and sign our Consignor Contract which provides account information, consignment period, our pricing, commission policy and pay out information.
2) Please ensure your items are in good to great condition.

4) No holes, rips, or stains.
5) Does not show obvious wear
3) Do Not bring clothes and their accessories which are dirty, stained, faded, torn, missing buttons, broken zippers, “brand-size-care” tag have been removed and items with personal names written in permanent marker.
4) Ant item determined too dirty for display will be turned away, donated or subject to a cleaning charge if accepted.
5) Most everything is 30% off after being in the store 30 days.
6) We decide the price of your consigned item(s) through research of current trends, style, demand & condition. It is important for our store to value price items for customer consideration and provide our Consignors with a reasonable pay out for their item(s).
7) We will hand select your items on Tuesday or Thursday. We will check your items while you browse the store. At this time any items that are not acceptable will be given back to you. We do offer hand select appointments on other days. Ask for one in advance if needed.
8) During our hand select check in process, it is not always possible to see every stain, rip, flaw, etc… During the actual tagging process, items are thoroughly checked and sometimes have to be deemed unacceptable. A note is made in your account and the item will be returned to you.
9) Drop & Shop – Is when you only bring items you know or pretty confident we’ll accept. If you use this method you are giving us permission to donate ant item(s) we determine as unacceptable.
10) Create a reminder for yourself if you plan to pull your unsold items at the 60 Day mark. It is always a good idea to contact the store for your exact expire date(s).
11) Your item(s) are here AT YOUR OWN RISK. We make every effort to ensure their safety until sold but are not responsible for damage or loss caused by handling, fire, water or theft.
12) Clothing – Children’s, Juniors, Ladies & Mens – Best sellers are new or like new, in-style, in season, better brand tops, jeans and casual wear. Coats sell well during cold weather. We do accept bargain brand clothing but are not priced high and are not top sellers.
Clothing Timeline:
1) February & March – Spring apparel – Lighter weight fabric, ¾ & Long sleeves tops, long pants, light weight sweaters & jackets, Skirts & Dresses.
2) April, May & June – Summer apparel – lightweight fabric, sleeveless & short sleeves, long & crop pants, shorts, swimwear, skirts & dresses.
3) August & September – Fall apparel – heavier weight fabric, ¾ & long sleeves, light weight sweaters & jackets, long pants, skirts & dresses.
4) October, November & December – Winter apparel – heavy fabrics, long sleeves, long pants, heavy weight sweaters, jackets & coats, skirts & dresses.
5) January & July – We do Not accept any clothing and their accessories during these two months. This allows us to transition from cool/cold to warm/hot.
We suggest you keep in mind what the weather is doing and it’s future forecast. Customers mainly purchase based on outside temperatures. Remember we only keep your items on the store floor for 60 days. Example – if you bring your item(s) on February 1st, they will expire on March 31st.
13) Handbags, totes & bags – Designer brands sell best. We limit acceptance of totes, wallets, change purses, etc… to only what we feel will sell.
14) Shoes – In-style, in season, better brands, clean, brand new or hardly used shoes.
15) Jewelry – Even thou, we sell jewelry; we don’t do consignment on jewelry.
16) Formal wear – are accepted on a selective basis.
17) If you have an item which you feel would sell at our store and not fit our normal categories, we are open to discussion. Please ask!!
18) Contact us – you can go to our Facebook page and we’ll reply back as quickly as possible. As well as calling the store during store hours or leave a detailed message and you will reply back as quickly as possible.
