I purchased a pair of roper boots about 6 weeks ago that the store owner promised he would ship to me I live in Seattle. I called the store to check in after the initial 3 weeks had passed as I hadn't heard a peep about my order. The man on the phone seemed to have completely forgotten about the order, but he'd check in about it. Another week goes by and I call to check in and am greeted by a different employee who was equally uncaring and told me she didn't know anything about it and she would call me back she refused to take my name or number saying she would use caller id--she never did. I called back the next day and again talked to the owner and all I got was, "don't know what's taking so long." I call back a week later, another rude employee with no information. I've called them over and over just to see if there are any updates or information about my order and every time have been met with uncaring, disinterested customer service. They've not once, between 9/11-10/27 called me with any information to update me with my order. I just called again only to be told that they just can't seem to get the boots and that they would issue me a refund. I looked on the cash register receipt and it says I was charged 174 dollars, when I looked at my bank account, I was charged 184 dollars. I asked what the 10 dollar difference could have been and the employee said they didn't know. I'm sure the positive reviews are true and the selection of boots is immense but the absolutely horrendous customer service and horrid communication has me writing my first bad review. I will never recommend or shop there again.
I’ve always struggled to find the right boots in my size. Always seems to be a task and have spent hours driving around trying to find the right ones. These guys know their stuff. I drove over from Pendleton after I spoke with the owner and he had the boots ready for me to try on when I walked in. This shop truly is about customer service and I got exactly what I needed. I won’t go anywhere else to get work boots anymore.
Surprised to see an although disheveled, but pretty badass lil boot store. I'm from Texas so I gotta pretty good idea of what one looks like. Thanks guys
This store is filled with stuff you need to see this place Awesome store I love the New York store .... Boots Hats western shirts , buckels, coats , on and on
I love the New York Store. They have everything, and the quality of products is always exceptional. They also carry real work pants for women, and steel toed boots for women with small feet. Often the only place in town with what you need. A crucial part of our community.
I loved this place! Great deal and friendly service.
We live quit a ways away but just stopped in to check it out. They had a huge selection of large men's boots and big and tall clothing. My husband wears a size 18 boot and for the first time ever a store had them in stock. They just kept bringing us different styles and let him try them on were not pushy and had amazing customer service. This will be the new place we go for boots.
Good quality stuff throughout. Four stars because a worker stood outside the changing room while my wife tried on clothes and asked too many questions for our liking. We kind of just wanted to try on clothes and if we had any questions we would ask. But if you like people handing you close to Try on even if you don’t like them then that’s good
I will say the boots are high quality the workers made me a bit uncomfortable but overall wouldn’t complain.
I would rate 5 stars but when they say they will take off $10 per pair of boots... they just raise the prices at least that much. I was charged with the $10 off $150 for a $130 pair of boots and my husband was charged $190 for a $190 pair. Same thing happened with 3 other people we sent there. Store is very cluttered. Great selection and helpful, but feel a little cheated... no prices are listed on most of the boots.
