I grew up by this hospital but never had to come in for myself. I came in for my son today and the staff is wonderful. My experience was wonderful. I didn’t know how long I would be here because the ER is unpredictable, since anything can happen to anyone, at any time. I am grateful that I was here for about two to three hours. They were caring and made sure to communicate. I would recommend it. I pray others have an easy and wonder experience, as well.
My experience there was very good , I think it all depends on the nurses and doctor who you get. I was lucky to get really helpful nurse and doctor. They treat me with respect and help me to feel better. I am so thankful to them. May God bless all the doctors and nurses they are doing a great job. The wait was not long at all, the place was clean and staff were friendly.
I am at the Montefiore Westchester campus for the second time in a week. I have to say this is the best emergency room ever! They are fast, thoughtful, quiet, clean, and right to the point. no long waits for anything. They are everything you want in an emergency room. I want to tell people about this hospital, but that might mess it up, so..forget everything I said... don't come here. You will hate it...NO. THEY ARE THE BEST, really. THANK YOU, GUYS.
Every time we come here the staff never show like they care. As soon as you walk in the first person you see ask you 15 questions so he said and ask you to sign all of those same stupid questions. Then all the nurses just stand there looking at you without showing any sympathy. I know it is not an easy job but they can at least try.
I have no complaints, Dr and Staff were attentive, informative, was not there for more than 2 hours. I recommend this hospital. I gave them 5 stars
Waited 4 hours because there was little to no staff and only 1 Doctor. Instead of shutting the E.R. down, they made 12 people that needed medical attention to wait long periods of time. We sadly had to call 311. Many patients either left or complained.
As An RN In The Community For Decades I Was Horrified Being At WSH This Weekend. Please Note There Are Many Wonderful Staff There Working Hard & This Is No Reflection On Them. In General Emergencies I Brought Family & Friends Here. Came Myself A Few Times & Referred Others. Maybe It Was The Metal Detector Or Just Sitting Hours On A Red Lawn Chair That Did It. Hearing Lies Being Told, Patients Who Didn't Know Any Better. Thought Well Medical Care In In 2023 Here Is The New Normal Now. However, I Couldn't Get Over The Filth. This Same Facility Had The Shinest Floors Seen At One Time. Honestly, The Main And Real Reason Writing This Is The Symptoms Of Pneumonia I Was Diagnosed With Are Getting Worse. Now I Must Travel Away From My Home To Get Help And I Am Both Sick And Saddened. Where Do I/We Go. Note The President Of The Hospital Conglomerate Makes I Believe Eight Million Annually. Support Nurses.
The doctors and staff have little to no patience and are very rude. I went there at 10:40pm and left at 2:35am so the wait was long and did not get good costumer service. On top on that they’re ALWAYS understaffed. Don’t go to the E.R. here.
The decor is horrible and there was a huge waterbug right next to me on wall but BAAAAABY the nurses and doctor's shine bright like diamonds! Awesome staff.
Waste of government money Front desk is very unprofessional. We were called twice at the desk to register, no fault was ours. She wasn’t apologetic for calling us twice.moreover She gave us look like it was our fault she called us twice. We have arrived by ambulance and, doc saw in after 1 hour of arrival. Even though it’s not that busy.
