NHC Healthcare Johnson City

I worked here and it is a very nice nursing home the best I've ever worked at... Pretty much every one that works there is very kind and helpful....

My mother-in law was there after a horrific experience at another facility where she was left in bed and they chewed up insurance & medicare days. When she arrived at NHC she had just recovered from a UTI but now had the flu. . .she had to stay in isolation for a few days. We received a call daily we live apx. 2,000 away with a progress report. Her therapists called with updates as well. Long story short. . .after 2 1/2 - 3 weeks she was strong enough to go back home to her assisted living. Thank you NHC. . .your staff is AWESOME! You ROCK! ! !

My mother was pleased with the care she received at NHC . The nurses and staff were kind , understanding and helpful. Some fresh air and a simple stroll would have been nice. That was missed as my mother is a nature person. Thank you all so much for the care my mother recieved. She is getting stronger

I had several family members who stayed at this facility and received excellent care! My mom had rehab after her surgery for breast cancer and went home in better shape than she was before her surgery! My grandfather stayed there twice and loved it both times! Excellent care and healed the wounds on his legs before he left and he had them for a long time! My great aunt stayed there and received wonderful care staff kept me informed of everything that happened with them and was always kind and compassionate and I would never send my family anywhere else!

I highly recommend this facility. I have been employed at this facility for 14 years and NHC is truly a great place to work. No place is perfect, but we strive to take the best care of our patients. We considers the welfare of our patient and families as the highest priority. We have a phenomenal rehab department too. I have had my grandfather here for nursing care and rehab and he received the best care and he was able to go home. I feel blessed to be employed at NHC.

My grandfather stayed at NHC for a few months. To start off the staff was very friendly and caring. Every member of the staff worked hard to give the patients the best experience possible. The facility itself was as clean as it could be. I highly recommend NHC to anyone who is looking to receive top notch care in the tri-cities area.

This is definitely a 5 star facility, and they have the state surveys to prove it! Not only is the nursing care top notch, but also the rehab facilities are spacious and the team is great. My grandfather was a patient here after an extended stay in the hospital following a brain bleed. The rooms are accommodating, all staff went out of their way to help in anyway they could, and the improvements my grandfather made wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the nurses and therapy teams. There is no greater facility in Johnson City!

My mom is currently living there. It is much better than the first place that she was in. She is happy, healthy, and always talks about the activities that they do. Most of the nurses are attentive and kind. But it is a nursing home, and once in a while she will get a bad nurse who doesn't get her out of bed for the day. She's never fallen or gotten hurt.

My grandfather was at NHC for 2-3 months. The nursing staff and the therapy department were ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH!!!! My grandfather was able to rehab and discharg home. The over all facility is also Top notch! From the nursing, therapy, dietary and maintenance, housekeeping departments, you could not ask more for more professional, caring, devoted staff. I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone!!

My husband has had excellent care at NHC. The staff have been wonderful. The communication between patient, nurse, and therapy has been impressive. I would recommend NHC Johnson City to anyone needing to get back on their feet.
