This place is an absolute must if you're in or near Marshall! We have kids 2-11 and we all loved it!! A film, lots of aviation history, cool stuff to look at, a super cool kid zone..def worth the admission fee! I will say our tour guide was excellent and that made our visit really enjoyable. Check it out!
What a pleasant surprise. I was expecting to spend less than a hour here but ended up staying for 2 1/2. There's a ton of history to learn about the local aerospace pioneers Nicholas and Beazley. The exhibits were well done and a few were interactive. At the start of the museum you start by watching a 10 min documentary about the history of flight and Mr. Nicholas and Mr. Beazley. It was worth the watch and then exploring everything after was fun and informative. The cherry on top was the children's area. They had so much to experience my little one could've spent 1/2 a day just playing and exploring. There were old cockpits to fully explore and 4 flight simulators to experience. They even had a Dream Flyer motion seat setup with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I plan on revisiting this museum because of how much there was too see and experience. 11/10 this is a must visit, especially if your looking for something to do in the Marshall area.
Perfect detour off I70, a real gem. If you're in the area be sure to swing by and check out a fascinating chapter in American aviation. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, this kinda of place is why people love road tripping. Don't miss it!
Absolutely incredible aviation museum. Prior to visiting, I did not know what to expect. The museum was larger than I expected and has a great collection. As others have suggested, it is an aviation museum that also includes exhibits about WWI and WWII. Our tour guide, Dave, was outstanding and we really enjoyed the tour. If you are an aviation or history fan, I highly recommend visiting.
Great place to visit. The museum itself isn’t that big, staring by a theater for history introduction of NB, followed by several spots for different airplane models and relative accessories/history. The best part is their kid’s center, which occupies half of the museum, my daughter spent literally 2 hours there, so many different themed aviation toys/game/equipment for kids of different ages. Even for the adults, there are several airplane simulation you can play with, super cool! Worth going museum if you are nearby.
A small, but very interesting place. Lots of cool aviation history and some very unique aircraft to see.
Like other reviews said, this is a gem in Marshall. Far beyond what I expected. The volunteer tour guide, Dave, is so knowledgeable and enthused about aviation and history. The children's play area is spectacular. Many things for kids to do related to aviation. 10/10 recommend. The guided tour will likely take you at least 2 hours, so make sure you have plenty of time. There are a ton of World War I and II artifacts as well.
Hidden treasure in Marshall! Our guide was very knowledgeable and handled my rambunctious kids with ease. At the end, there was a play area for kids. Would LOVE to come back.
This was a cute little museum. If you're ever in the neighborhood you should definitely stop by and tour it.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
