Nicole Gallery was founded in 1986 by Nicole Smith, a self-made businesswoman who began her career in 1971 as curator at the Centre D'Art de Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. For more than almost twenty-five years she has provided the Chicago art scene with a multicultural, multi-ethnic mix of artists, styles, and aesthetics. The Gallery represents some of the finest Haitian, African-American, African, and World artists.
