Archaeology at NMU is part of the Anthropology component in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology.
Anthropology is currently available as a minor at NMU. We are working hard toward creating a major in the near future. In the meantime, students that know they want Anthropology as a career choice, have an option called an "ICP" - Individually Created Program. This allows them to create an independent major with an Anthropology focus.
