Somewhat disappointing dinner, which perhaps explains why the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. My salmon was extremely tough, likely cooked from frozen, and who knows how old it was. The portion sizes are generous; however, my boyfriend and kids didn’t finish their noodle dishes and didn’t really want them as leftovers. They said the dishes were bland and the noodles were stuck together. With so many Thai options nowadays, doubt we will be going back anytime soon.
The restaurant is kinda small but it has a really cool vibe to it. I ordered the basil fried rice. The service was a good speed and the employees were friendly. Overall a good experience and I would recommend. The Thai tea they had was also pretty good.
Tried something different in Roxbury MA. We chose to go to the Noodle Barn. Much to chose from and enjoyed our choices. Service was spot on. Should try it if u like Asian cuisines, Thai and Vietnamese foods. Vegetarian options: They offer special diets food for vegetarians and have vegan options for lunch and dinner.
The experience at Noodle Barn is extremely pleasent. From exceptional service to phenomenal food, the place is a must try. The noodles, Bahn Mi sandwiches and Com Thit Nuong Grilled on Rice dishes are extremely tasty. Specially the measts which are well seasoned and memorable. Thai Iced Tea was great as well! Parking: Parking is behind the store. You can access it from the side road just pass the shop. Follow the Map as is.
great food with fast service next to some cute shops. 10/10 would come back. I got spicy shrimp pad thai and they definitely spiced it up.
I normally don’t complain about food, because what I’ll do it’s not return to the place. But in this case I have to. I bought a chicken pho Ga soup, cha gio and a Goi Cuon and the only thing I can say is that the soup was good. The rolls didn’t taste good and the Goi Cuon was filled with lettuce the noodles were hard and only one shrimp. Seriously $8 for what for lettuce, and the use two spring rolls skins which it was too thick and didn’t have any flavor. Not worth expending $35
I highly recomend the green and panang curry, also the pad see we and pad thai. Avoid the yellow curry the potatos are too hard.
This is probably one of my most favorite places with Asian cuisine in Boston. I got a fried rice dish that was very flavorful. The Vietnamese coffee was also really good, and the portion sizes are worth the price.
The food here is good. We order takeout all the time from here. My only complaint it that they don’t fill the containers up all the way each time. I ordered the basil fried rice once and the pad kee mow noodles once and it was half full. But each time I order the pad woon den noodles and it’s always really full. The service could be a lot better. We sat ourselves at a table on a Saturday afternoon. They gave us menus and we waited more than 5min for someone to come take our drink order. They just kept passing by us. We ended up just getting takeout.
Food: 71/80. Service/Atmosphere 2/5. I've ordered takeout from this place twice and asked for condiments both times and I never got any Re-eatability: 12/15 Overall: 85/100. Food itself was very tasty just wish they would give me some sauce :
