Nordstrom’s at the Grove is extremely clean, always a fair amount of people there, staff is friendly and helpful and not snooty! They have everything you need to look dazzling and sharp on your next night on the town. They carry shoes, clothes, cold weather garments, jewelry and perfume. They have very nice bathrooms. Bathrooms there are top notch and always in order. Toilets flush in 5 seconds, never out of anything, those fancy mirrors with the direct light that give you the confidence you deserve. That being said most of the products they carry are extremely expensive but you know these things will last.
Bryan D in customer service understands what customer service means. Was having a difficult time with other departments and getting the run around until Bryan D took care of things and took the time to follow up. Bryan clearly understands how to solve problems and I appreciate their hard work and commitment to making sure the customer is taken care of. This review is for Bryan, the other departments/team members I had to speak to before Bryan get negative stars. They clearly didn’t want to try to help and I kept getting transferred to one person after another until finally getting told that what I needed couldn’t be done. So negative stars for everyone else and 5 stars to Bryan D.
Needed alterations for some jeans, leisure pants, and a beautiful red dress. Garu did such a great job with all the pieces and was such a pleasure to work with! Very grateful for his time and expertise.
This is a very nice higher end department store. The atmosphere is great and I like the employees and the displays in the store. Very nicely done.
I had already got my wife a full outfit so I figured I might as well just complete it by picking her up a pair of heels to pull it all together. I’m much better at picking out clothes she likes so I decided to lean on Christine, the staff member who was willing to help me on my quest. She did a great job picking my brain about my wife’s style before making a few recommendations. I finally decided on a pair we both liked and bought it. Truly top notch customer service and I hope I won’t be back to exchange them.
Hats off to Nordstrom for having high standards in hiring employees. I purchased an American doll from their store in the Grove and asked for the gift wrap and I was told that I needed to go to the Nordstrom store in this regard. So I went to gift wrapping center at the second floor of Nordstrom. At the reception desk a lady named BRANDY if I recall correctly told me to come for picking it up tomorrow. I told her that tonight is my friend’s daughter birthday and asked if it is possible for her to do it today and I can wait even an hour or so there to wrap it for me. She asked me to stay there and immediately gift wrapped my package perfectly and returned it to me. Later that night, I gave my friend’s daughter her birthday gift and she was sooo happy with it. I firmly believe that one of the reasons that she loved her present was the perfect gift wrapped box by Brandy. Kudo to her P.s: I hope that I recall her name correctly. She is a gorgeous African American lady at the gif wrapping center of the second floor.
Asos/Nordstrom at The Grove has great clothes but HORRIBLE service. My daughter and I weren't greeted upon entering the store, no one came over to offer assistance with shoes as I tried them on and two sales reps stood there and watched as my 4'11" self struggled to get a dress hanging at the top of the wall. So we just left. Nordstrom needs to retrain their associates on service excellence. Not a good first impression at all!

Shoes! Great selection of high end shoes and more affordable. Really large shoe department compared to some other Nordi's. The perfume department is a cicular counter right by cosmetics,good selection. This Nordtrom has more high end items because The Grove tends to have higher end boutiques.
This particular Nordstrom in The Grove was unlike any other Nordstrom I have ever been in. For one thing, it was filled with day-glo clothing, for another, the store had a fully loaded DJ playing Dance Music. It was cool and a little surreal. My friend said, " this may be the norm in Los Angeles". The mall had two Nordstroms. The other was more in keeping with the Nordy's tradition. Go if you haven't been, it's a marvel and an experience. A great way to spend the day. Live music, dancing, and a movie theatre to boot.
