North Orange County Regional Health Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Elliott E. Sherrel M.D., formerly known as The Women's Center. The clinic has served the community for over 25 years in the city of Fullerton. Dr. Sherrel’s vision was to become a Community Clinic where all patients would receive quality healthcare with dignity and respect regardless of their ability to pay. The clinic became officially a Community Clinic ( Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike) on December 2008. Unfortunately, Dr. Sherrel passed away 2 months prior the fruition of his vision. The annual Health Fairs are a dedication in honor of his legacy. By being able to offer low cost, State and Federally funded programs for those who qualify we strive to make a difference in our patient lives. We area a proud member of the Coalition of Community Clinics in Orange County whose mission is to provide Safety Net Program in Orange County. The clinic offers several program services such as breast and cervical cancer screening, prenatal care and counseling, child and disability prevention programs, and medical services initiative program. The goal of this clinic is to develop a medical home for the members of the community, and outreaching to all patients that are in need of health care.
We are dedicated to delivering quality, affordable healthcare services to the medically underserved County.
The clinic continues to offer general health care and several Medi-Cal program services, including breast and cervical cancer screening. We offer family planning to both men and women. Prenatal care and counseling are offered to pregnant women along with the Child and Disability Prevention programs which offers child exams and immunizations. We recently are proud to have added the Medical Services Initiative Program and have received funding through the TSR Grant for persons unable to pay for any services.
