I love this place. I came for the first time today and will definitely keep this as my regular dentist office. The team was so kind and always looking for ways to make my experience better. Aliza was so sweet and caring and gave me lots of comfort during my gum shots. I highly recommend North Park smiles to anyone, especially if you’ve had bad experiences at the dentist before.
Horrible experience, hands down the most frustrating experiences. I scheduled an appointment back in March for 9am and it was pushed back to 3pm after waiting an hour and a half they asked if I could come back at 3. I found a different dentist for that visit but I guess she scheduled the appointment. Yesterday when I had pain I tried to go back to North park smiles but was met with resistance for not showing up to the 3pm appointment in March after they waisted my time. It’s unbelievable that the lady on the phone argued about normally notes are taken. Save your time and DO NOT COME HERE. Patient’s appointment mean nothing they are always behind and God forbid you miss an appointment, they will give you a hard time scheduling another. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, go to Orange Dental instead for a great dental experience. North Park smiles deserves ZERO stars.
-10000000 stars!!!!! This place is unbelievable!! The issues I have with this place are honestly endless. To begin, I came in for a simple cleaning and ended up having to have quite a bit of work done. Fine. What’s not fine is I ended up coming back 7 more times, a few times in which I just turned around and went home because nothing is organized in this place. After all that work and $5k, I am having way more issues with my teeth than I ever did. After I finally said I am done and not coming back, I started having intense pain on one of the cavities they worked on and had to go get a root canal somewhere else obviously only 2 weeks after having the tooth worked on. Lets not forget the extremely creepy male dental hygienist that works there!! If you are a woman, please beware!!! This man winked at me more than once, sat right next to my head in a way that most certainly seemed inappropriate, and overall gave me an extremely uneasy feeling every time I went. After ALL THIS, when I finally said I’m not coming back and to refund me the remaining money for the work I decided to not have done, almost $1,400 worth, I OF COURSE!!! Did not receive the money!!!! I called them a week later informing them the money still wasn’t in my account. Of course they said “oh well we sent it”. Well after that I contacted my bank and let them handle it. That was over a month ago. I just received an email saying they are still avoiding my bank and haven’t paid them. This has got to be the biggest s***t show I’ve ever seen in my life!! I
Never coming back again. Unprofessional and aggressive dental hygienists. They will try to up charge you at any chance. I was given fillings a week ago and left in pain for an entire week. I received no apology from the aggressive dental hygienist who was yanking at my jaw while operating on me Instead he brushed it off like it wasn’t his fault. Don’t waste your time coming to this dump. Very poor customer service.
This dentist office is horrible now! Their billing is horrible! They will have you waiting months for insurance approvals or incorrectly submit them to your insurance. The billing girl will try to pressure you into just applying for a credit card. Not going back and will not recommend anymore!
The Dentist E.S. He is very friendly and has great knowledge, organized, clean and above all very professional. He helped to you to feel comfortable and relaxed. My teeth appreciated that attention.
I came here when the office was still on 30th St, and they told me that I was not welcome back because of my inability to control my anxiety. They told me that they couldn't even finish the work root canal of which still has a hole in it. I have high anxiety due to my fear of dental tools, so I was having hard time trying to keep my emotions in check. They still did not care. So, here I am, 4 years later, and they are STILL calling me to schedule an appointment. UHM, No! Them Bit##es told me not to come back, but now they need clients. I told them to stop calling me, but they still do every 6 months or so... That's what happens when your business is so trigger happy to let good clients go Go to Real Dental Care in Chula Vista. They treat their patients with dignity and respect. I have even been able to feel at ease in this office despite my anxiety, and I don't feel judged and unwanted.
Generally OK, not the worst dentistry I've been to, though surely not the best either. Just be careful to check your prescription or they'll upsell you hundreds of dollars worth of tooth brushing equipment.
My first visit to North Park Smiles. Upon entering I was greeted by the very friendly staff. Throughout the visit I interacted with technicians and the dentist; they were all upbeat and friendly. They made me feel right at home; everyone knows we all hate dental work. They explained every procedure and treatment plan. The dentist was careful not to cause any discomfort throughout my exam. I was given a treatment plan moving forward. It was a very positive, upbeat and professional experience. They made me feel as if I was visiting with family. Highly recommend you visiting them for any dental needs.
I was referred here for a root canal, I waited a couple weeks for insurance approval. Finally the day came and the procedure was started but the dentist was not able to perform the entire job and left it halfway so now I have to wait in pain another couple of weeks for insurance approval from another dental office.
