Established in 1814, North Yarmouth Academy (also known as "NYA") is an independent, college-preparatory coeducational day school for toddlers to students in grade 12. Fifteen minutes from Portland, NYA's 25-acre campus is located in historic Yarmouth, Maine. The Head of School is Ben Jackson, with Allen Bornheimer '60 heading the Board of Trustees. NYA has 266 enrolled students with an average class size of 14 students.
