Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that encourages respect as well as promotes self-esteem and trust. Rose Garden is a safe and secure place for your child to develop healthy habits, attitudes and skills. Both structured and unstructured activities are offered to children promoting their individual development. Our day is designed with individual and group activities as well as free play time. Daily, teachers observe and interact with children attempting to maintain a stimulating environment meeting the needs of each child at their own pace. Teachers facilitate independence, self-esteem and model problem-solving skills. Children are encouraged to choose activities as they approach new learning with confidence and a positive self-concept.
Rose Garden offers opportunities for children to interact in an inclusive, child-directed environment. We focus on learning through the developmental areas of cognitive, social, emotional and physical development utilizing “play” as the focal point for learning. Teachers help to introduce diversity through cultural and physical differences. Our hope is the experiences offered will promote positive outcomes for the children and families served.
Preschool Classes: Our small class size creates a wonderful, safe environment for exploration and learning. The curriculum is based upon the children's interests and needs, considering both group and individual development. My goal as their teacher is to gently stretch each child each day—rewarding progress and supporting struggles.
Classes are available 8:00-11:45 8:00-12:30 or 8:00-3:30, with a two, three or four day schedule. Ages 2 1/2 through 5 1/2 years
School-age Care: We enjoy snack upon arrival, play before a short homework time and finish our day with play. Early Release Wednesdays are filled with arts, crafts, science and most of all play! Care available Monday through Friday includes Early Release Wednesdays till 5:15 pm. Teacher-in-Service Days and Snow Days are available on a need basis at an additional cost.
