I bought a 600$+ car starter off these guys a couple years ago after they told me I could use my phone to “start my car in Florida”, the starter only works if using the app and after 2 years of it barely even working, does it “expire” and have to pay yearly now to even use it. When we called Northern Auto Sound, they basically said that “it is what it is”, and there is nothing they can do. We were not told about any expiry and nothing was done to either replace the car starter or offer any kind of discount or refund. Waste of money, very poor customer service and shady business. Will never return or recommend.

These guys are amazing. They offer solutions. The attention was almost immediate I waited only one day for my appointment. They repaired the lights on my car due to a bad radio installation I did. They explain in detail how the work progresses. Fair price, fast, helpful and the most importa...Honest.

The best place to go for car audio in Sudbury BY FAR! I needed my speakers replaced and the people at Northern Auto Sound were patient, kind, respectful and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my sound system. Their pricing is fair and their service is efficient and well organized. Other car audio shops that I had contacted in Sudbury were quite rude and dishonest. I will definitely be a returning customer and I 100% recommend Northern Auto Sound to everyone!

I usually get sub-par service on my '06 Buick from our Kirkland Lake shops. Northern Auto Sound was worth the trip! Remote start functions, install was clean and they even fixed a piece of trim that was loose. I think I might need a stereo system or something next...

My request to book an appointment in 2 weeks time was greeted with near maniacal laughter! Didn't make me feel like they really wanted my business. I was offered an appointment in early Feb 2013. It's early December. More laughter. Could be more professional, Clearly catering to local dealerships. Past experience was very good, that's why I wanted to go back, but I went elsewhere and saved $100.00. Shop around read your warranty and trust your instincts.

went in looking for a receiver for my new stereo i bought online. They told me the one i had was fine and even rigged it up for me... for free right on the spot. I went back to my truck, plugged it in and it worked great. They saved me money and could have made an easy sale as I'm not that knowledgeable about car audio. My boss needs a stereo for his work truck... guess where i'm going!  Thanks :

Outstanding staff. I went here after laking toyota told me that my brand new corolla speaker is not covered under warranty. I went to this shop to get me a new speaker and when their installer tested my speakers he told me that all the speakers are working properly it's just my settings are not right and tuned my system for no charge. I told this story because northern auto sound could have robbed me but they didn't and they were super honest and told me to keep my money if the speakers are good. Both the gentleman on the front counter were extremely nice and helpful. I'm beyond satisfied. And laking toyota technicians don't know what their doing. Big thank to Northern Auto Sound for saving me money.

I had to post about my experience after reading these other negative reviews. Let me honestly tell you YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY...I have had nothing but excellent service from these guys every time I walk in.  Truly a gem in the north for car audio. The installer Steve is the absolute best of the best! Give them a shot and see what I mean.
