Went to buy a tow behind sprayer for the lawn tractor. Staff was helpful showing where they were, helped load on a cart and lucked out it was on sale. I also liked they had one assembled you could check out.
Poor customer service. Was quoted 1-2 week turn around, they claimed i would get a call after a few days. After 15 days i gave them a call myself. Was told it was sent to rogers location. So I called them, it hadnt been looked at, the person i spoke literally said “ill get it on the bench right nowand give you a call back” word for word. You cant make this stuff up i tell ya. And i never heard back. So i called again todaynext day and was told it still wasnt looked at and that it “would be looked at next” so i asked for a refund. They tried giving me the same exact run around as the previous day. So I insisted on the refund. After lots of back and forth i was finally told the machine would be sent back and i would get a refund. Such a waste of my time. And they even tried claiming all the other shops are just as backed up, literally a lie. I called 2 shops was was told a 24 hour turn around on most repairs… dont WASTE your time with the service department here.
Older Caucasian women cashier was rude and had horrible customer service!!! Raised her voice at me and my dad. Her previous customer was Caucasian and her customer service was fine. But when it came to me and my dad, oh boy her service immediately changed. Pretty much racist.
The store was helpful, but the specifications were lacking. I had to contact Northern's warehouse, and then where they purchase the unit from to get the answers that I needed. The specs. for a hydraulic cylinders needs to include the rod diameter and the port size and type which were missing as well as the pressure rating, piston diameter, stroke, pin diameter, retracted length, type of cylinder such as welded or tie rod, types of seals, safety factor, and warranty at a minimum.
Northern tool will not let me onto any of their stores websites, it comes up as access denied. Showed it to an employee and his manager, who said they never saw it before. I've always been a good customer but now only go there as a last resort.
Great store, had what I needed and very helpful staff.
Didn't catch the cashiers name but amazing! Needs a raise! Helped me out tons and that other Northern Tool location wouldn't give me the time or day for trying to return an item.

Great employees. One of them went the extra mile for me
I bought a snow blower with the help of Chris at the Blaine location - it was the very last one they had and he followed thru on every detail including making sure I had the right battery charger & accessories. If that wasn't enough, in the freezing cold parking lot he helped me load it into my SUV! Thank you Chris, and thank you Northern Tool!
