Northshore Lagoon Bar
"Venture upstairs from the North Shore Lagoon to Nui Nui along a wall paneled in teak recycled from 100-year-old Balinese fishing boats, and be sure to look up at fixtures made from Balinese chicken cages and hand-blown glass. When you arrive at this island-style “hut,” monolithic Polynesian statues greet visitors, and carved sandstone from Bali points the way. Make yourself at home overlooking the North Shore Lagoon swimming pool; choose from a bench made from a teak tree trunk pulled from a river in Bali, oil drum furniture from Indonesia, or perch at a bar made of Balinese monkey pod tree, then unfold a menu like no other in Bothell."

We had the dinner for two pig and poke and it was excellent. The pork belly was super flavorful and tender. The poke went very well with the salsa and chip. And that was enough food for two!
The food was delicious here! I had the Thai sweet potatoes and the hula fried rice , SO good! The service was slow, but in their defense, the computer system was down. It did take about 10 minutes to get our drink order. The atmosphere was so neat, it's a tiki bar/restaurant.Food: 5/5
This place was SO good! The Thai tater tots and cauliflower on the appetizer menu were delicious! I had the pork belly Bahn MI and the kale salad. Worth the 40 minute drive. My husband loved his poke bowl as well. Friendly wait staff and cool atmosphere. No wait to sit down. We also had drinks, which drove the price up but they were good as well. Vegetarian options: They offer different protein options! Dietary restrictions: The menu let's you know what is vegan and gluten free.
Went with my kids my brother and my nephews and had a ball in the pool! Never been before, but it's been a while since I've been at an indoor pool! Only an hour, but plenty of fun! Didn't have any food so didn't rate it lolService: 5/5
Went swimming in the hotel pool, very spacious and warm! Though there seemed to be a lot of people using the pool it never felt crowded and I had tons of fun playing around with my friends. Would definitely recommend this indoor pool if you're looking for a fun place to swim!
Went here on a double date on Saturday evening after NYE. We met just after HH, which is 3-6 M-F. Everything was delicious. The service I expected to be a little more robust as McMenamins is usually quite the experience. I enjoyed the MaiTai and Hot Butter Rum. My partner tried the Ruby Ale. We dined on the kale salad and the Pig and Poke for two. The salad was good, the diced jalapeños added a punch. Pork belly was on point. The poke was a little soft. The accompanying pineapple salsa and cream sauce married all the flavors well. 1st round of drinks took about 30 mins to show up. And our salad came out just moments before our main dish, causing an awkward ballet of shifting dishes to fit everything. We had a cool little room over looking the pool that gave us privacy, which we all enjoyed. Bothell residents get to swim for free btw Parking was tough as there were a couple of company holiday parties going on. Afterward, we stolled the grounds and had a night cap in the front of the fire at The Tavern on the Square. I enjoyed an Apple Brandy Furance, which I liked because it was a hot drink and not as sweet as the Hot Buttered Rum. We look forward to visiting again. Would love to catch some live music next time and enjoy one of the bonfires. Wish I had taken more pics.
Interesting place. Food was really good! Ordered Kailua pork & crispyaki ssliders. Definitely an experience.
Came to The Lagoon 30 min before a swim. Took 25 min to get water and 45 min for an order of fries that cost $20. The waitress said we could bring the fries to the pool or she could bring them down and when we got there the lifeguards said no food in the pool area. They don't offer refunds in these situations and the manager said lots of people leave bad reviews and encouraged me to do so. Used to love coming to this place and hosting birthday parties through the years. Im very sad that I no longer feel the same magical feeling about this place.
Previously we have loved this location of McMenamins. They host a fun tiki vibe and a menu to match. Unfortunately, when we last visited the service that we received was terrible. We arrived just before 8pm and there was very few diners there. The staff took forever to come to our table in the first place, and then when we ordered our drinks and fries we were informed that "the bar was backed up" and would take a little longer than usual. After 45 minutes of waiting for fries and drinks we decided to leave. The waitress never returned to apologize for the wait, and never even brought water to our table. Overall a very negative experience.
Unique ambience with a dimly lit, tiki vibe, unique to the McMenamin campus. This spot overlooks a swimming pool filled with lush vegetation on view if you sit by the windows. It's a long, narrow space with booths and tables, two smaller rooms tucked away at either end. Service was friendly. Food and cocktails were OK, not great. For example, the fried rice dish lacked flavor/seasoning and the daiquiri has a weird funky taste which may have been due to a mix vs. fresh lime juice. But come for the intimate ambience and you won't regret. 3.5 stars.
