The purpose of the Northville Historical Society is to bring together those people interested in history, and especially in the history of Northville, Michigan. The Society’s major function is to discover, collect, observe, advance, and disseminate knowledge of the history of the Northville region.
Mill Race Village is a living museum. It is located at 215 Griswold in Northville, Michigan. The park is open from dawn to dusk. Buildings are open on Sundays from 1 – 4 pm from mid-June to mid-October. Office hours are 9 am – 1 pm Monday thru Wednesday. The Archives are open Monday and Tuesday 9 am – 1 pm all year. Rentals - The church is available for weddings with exclusive use of the grounds. It is also available for receptions, private parties, meetings, etc. The Cady Inn is available for showers small parties, luncheons, club meetings, etc. For corporations, the Village grounds are yours exclusively for the entire day for company picnics, or business use such as photography studios, actual commercials being shot, films being made, etc. For more information visit our website.
