The Northville City Fire Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical services (BLS), Fire Prevention and Inspection, and Public Education for the Cities of Northville and Plymouth, Michigan. The department operates out of three strategically placed stations with in the response area and is staffed by a dedicated and professional force of 55 paid on call Firefighters and EMS responders. The Department serves a population of 15,000 living within the 4.5 square mile response area. The Department responds to approximately 1600 calls for service each year. NCFD is also the home of Explorer Post 1717.
