At the NWH Center for Plastic Surgery, our plastic surgeons Dr. David Palaia and Dr. Michael Rosenberg, perform both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. The field of plastic surgery includes both aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Aesthetic procedures are primarily intended to improve the appearance of facial and bodily features, while reconstructive procedures are generally involved with restoring a change which may be the result of illness, trauma or tumor surgery.
