Library Mission Statement
The purpose of the Norwood ElementaryLibrary Media Center is to support and enrich the instructional curriculum,promote a love for recreational reading, and provide assistance to students andstaff in finding information and using it effectively.
To fulfill this purpose, the library mediacenter staff will:
*Provide intellectual and physical accessto materials in a variety of formats, reading levels and interests.
*Provide instruction and opportunities forindependent learning and critical thinking.
*Provide support to ensure life-longlearning and reading both for pleasure and information.
*Provide collaboration withstaff to create authentic learning for all students.
