Novant Health Bradford Clinic Ob-Gyn-Ballantyne

Shocking! Called to ask for an appointment. Told the receptionist that I've discovered I'm pregnant and I'm high risk. She asks me where I want to deliver since it determines the doctors. I said it's most likely I won't get to delivery and I don't drive so I need the place nearer to me. She says again that I need to tell her where I want to deliver. She then says I don't even need to see a doctor until I'm 8 weeks...even though I prefaced it with the fact that I'm high risk. The unkind lady then hung up. You know, considering I've got a 'fresh off the boat' accent and clearly have no idea how the Healthcare works or even which hospitals I can deliver in in Charlotte, you would've thought she would've helped me a bit more. 5 miscarriages and a still birth and you think she would believe when I said high risk. In other countries they would see me immediately to check hormone levels... Do I need progesterone? Urg. Guess I'll have to wait at home and see if I miscarry then take myself to an emergency center. Unkind lady. Why do Americans stand for such awful Healthcare??? It's not patient centered AT ALL. I've had better Healthcare in Chinese government hospitals. Novant you should be ashamed. I'll be finding another doctor and I don't recommend these guys. They don't care about you as a person or patient at all. Or, at least they are not training the people on the phone the first person you deal with to understand sensitivities and patient centered care. America, why don't you demand better????

I had my annual .. these doctors are always full of smiles and make you feel comfortable... I stay way on the otherside of charlotte 30 mind out and I prefer this location over any! Thanks!!!

Dr. Boster is an amazing clinician. She is compassionate, thorough, patient, and personable. Hands down the best provider I’ve ever had. She delivered my first baby and made the experience absolutely amazing. I truly cannot recommend her more.

Just wanted to share how great the Bradford Clinic has been throughout my pregnancy. Because of frequent visits, you get to know most of the doctors. Don't get me wrong, all have been fantastic, but you can't help but pick your favorites and for me, that has been Dr. Lindsey Harward. I realize I don't get to choose, but crossing my fingers she is the one on call when it's time to deliver. All in all, you can't go wrong at this office. They have been around forever, so not only do they know what they are doing, but they are very low-key and relaxed about things - which helps during such an uncertain time. Thanks Bradford Clinic!

I visited here for my wellness exams for a couple years between 2014-current. About 3 years ago, I had an emergency which put me in the hospital and my follow up visits were with this practice. I had to have special tests done to make sure my body had fully healed and had to pay for those out of pocket as my insurance did not cover it. At the time I did not have the means to pay for all of these expenses. Recently I visited my primary doctor for annual physical and she reminded me it's been a couple years since my annual wellness GYN visit so I made sure to reach out and make an appointment asap. So naturally, I would call the clinic I had went to before as they had all my records. As soon as the appointment was made on my chart Novant, an associate at the practice called me and told me that they cancelled my appointment because their is still a medical balance owed from years ago and they will not see me unless I paid it. I had completely forgotten about this and had not received any bill for years. I called the billing customer service for Novant and paid it immediately. I then found a new GYN not affiliated with Novant for my wellness exam. I work in credit underwriting in my career and in my experience, a medical bill should not be held against you for service. Thank you Novant Bradford Clinic for making me feel so awful about this and refusing to help me. If it weren't for my amazing primary care doctor, I would never trust you with my own and families care with Novant ever again. Really sad.

I started going to this practice at the beginning of my first pregnancy and I am so glad I chose this office! Every single receptionist, nurse, and doctor here was so kind to me and my husband from that very first appointment up until delivery and postpartum. Being pregnant for the first time is so overwhelming but this office made the entire process go so smoothly and made me feel comfortable. My favorite things about this office: 1 at the end of every visit they take time with you to answer all of your questions, so important when so many other doctors rush you in and out, they do the opposite! 2 they emphasize personal choice here so much from everything from the prenatal testing options to whether or not you want an epidural in delivery. I always felt empowered and like they cared about what I wanted 3 they have certain practices that just make you feel more comfortable when doing exams, for instance in late pregnancy you have to get your cervix checked to see if it’s dilated, not necessarily a fun moment! However at this practice they are so gentle and always tell you exactly what they’re doing and explain if there will be any pressure or discomfort 4 there is a number you can call with questions at any time and speak to a nurse. The nurses at this number are amazing and will help and reassure you through any problem. Finally I highly recommend Dr. Moore, Dr. Bhojwani, and Dr. Harward; I saw these three providers the most during my pregnancy and they were amazing, you will be in good hands if you have any of them.

Usually I’m happy with them but my experience today was terrible. I called for an appointment and was asked which location I wanted. I told the nurse Ballantyne but for whatever reason she scheduled me for uptown and didn’t tell me, so when I showed up in Ballantyne, I was told I would not be able to be seen at the uptown location either and was sent to urgent care. I get to the urgent care they sent me to and it doesn’t open for another hour and a half. Total waste of time, terrible communication.

Came here for prenatal care. Everyone here is really nice but it seems there is a lot of confusion. Also seemed as though the Dr. never really listened to me, and I never really felt any connection. He also asked me questions about my last pregnancy/tests with a lot of medical terms in which I would never remember. I asked the doctor for the blood test for gender but they ended up performing a different one. They also set up your appointments but have to schedule your ultrasounds separately and you won’t know until the day of. It’s really inconvenient if you have to take off work. I am really confused as to why this place had so many recommendations. Unfortunately I just can’t trust them with my pregnancy and found a new OB.

Up until finding Bradford Clinic, I had had never ending bad experiences with OBs, doctors in general. I had all but given up. I just wanted to reach out and say I am overjoyed at finding this place. I cried happy tears after my last visit I was so overwhelmed. Every single staff member is the kindest, most patient, most helpful of any place I’ve ever been and 100% have your best interest at heart the entire time. I’ve never experienced anything like it. You got yourself a patient for life!

I'm a "senior" and because of that have not needed to visit Bradford Clinic on a regular basis - although 3 years ago, I had established a new GYN, just in case! A recent issue appeared, therefore I called for an appt but my GYN was unavailable for quite some time...Happily, I was quickly seen by Dr. Godsey who is every bit as talented, experienced, knowledgeable, and caring as my established GYN ... I am now listing two "favorite" doctors at Bradford, who I can count on, and you can, too! Thank you, Dr. Godsey, Dr. Clarke, and Bradford Clinic - you are the best of the best !
