The Nyack Park Conservancy Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization whose Mission is to revitalize and enhance Nyack’s Hudson River parks.
The Nyack Parks Conservancy Inc. (NPC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the preservation and enhancement of Nyack’s public spaces and parks, particularly its Hudson River waterfront, as a vital natural and recreational resource for the Village of Nyack and its surrounding communities. We are also committed to providing free access to arts, music, environmental education and recreation programs for people of all ages.
The NPC uses its nonprofit status to fund raise and obtain grants to bring to life the vision for revitalization of the parks owned by the Village of Nyack (“the Village”), including the Comprehensive Master Plan for Memorial Park (“the Plan”) adopted by the Village in 2007.
The Plan includes a broader lawn and recreation space, greater access to the Hudson River shoreline, enhanced gardens with a strong focus on native plants, ball fields, a children’s playground, a water feature, a skate park and free cultural activities for everyone to enjoy.
When fully implemented, the Plan will create a park that will enable us to more fully embrace our Hudson River shoreline, enhancing the lives of everyone in the community.
Tax deductible donations can be made on the NPC website www.nyackpark.org or by mail to the Nyack Park Conservancy, PO Box 1014, Nyack, NY 10960.
