I am glad I chose OB Davis to handle my father's cremation and memorial service. At a time when you are not thinking clearly, they guide you through the process with amazing grace and care. Cindy is knowledgeable and never missed a beat with any question or request I had. No matter what I asked, it was handled or granted, and swiftly too. The entire staff from start to finish could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The service went off without a hitch, and that is because I was dealing with true professionals who genuinely care about their clients. Highly recommend!

We had a wake in one state and a burial on Long Island. We were originally going to use a smaller neighborhood Funeral Home that my father had used in the past, however they were slow to respond and it was becoming obvious that they did not have much, if any, experience with funerals split between 2 states. I immediately request OB Davis be contacted instead as I had been to other services there in the past and had been impressed. Cindy at OB Davis responded immediately and knew EXACTLY what to do. I immediately felt that we were in the right hands and I could concentrate on caring for my family and getting us all to Long Island. Cindy made sure that everything was taken care of and explained all of our options. She made such a difficult time as painless as possible. Diana met us at the church for the Funeral Mass and Burial and was also FANTASTIC! She managed all arrangements and took care of us like family! OB Davis has such warm, kind and exceptionally professional staff. I am grateful that that they were able to provide services to us at such short notice especially since we no longer live in NY.

O.B. Davis has helped us many times say goodbye to our loved ones, most recently my FIL. While terribly sad, Funeral Director Cindy makes the process easy. The care that is shown from the staff from the minute you walk into the door until the minute you walk out is so extremely peaceful and honest. The second you open the front door you smell nothing but soothing, calming scents. There are no pushy sales pitches. They genuinely care and listen to what you want for your loved one. They truly handled it so professionally yet not stuffy. They cared.

Carol and Gary we’re very compassionate and extremely helpful every step of the way with our mom’s arrangements. We did the pre plan and thought we had it all worked out but there are always last minute details that pop up unexpectedly and Carol was there101% above and beyond communicating, helping, problem solving and caring like one of the family. We are very grateful. We did our dad’s arrangement here 2 years ago as well and everyone complimented how graceful all the details were and how well both funerals went. I have been so pleased with my experience at OB Dalton. The funeral parlor itself was lovely. It offered every amenity to make us comfortable including a separate lovely dining room that could accommodate up to 50 people for a buffet that could be ordered from two well known local restaurants. It was the perfect solution for us to be able to offer a place for family and friends to relax and have a meal in between the afternoon and evening visiting sessions. Best of all was our funeral Director, Cindy Cavorti, who took care of innumerable details regarding my husband’s wake, funeral and cremation. To be expected, many of the details required follow up and Cindy never forgot anything that needed to be completed. And she was not only professional, she was kind, caring, patient and wonderful to work with. In short, Cindy was stellar! I’m so grateful to OB Davis and Cindy for offering my family comfort at a very sad and difficult time in our lives.

I recently lost my Dad and went to OB Davis in Port Jefferson with my family to plan his services. We didn’t know what to expect and Cindy explained everything and made his services beautiful. The room was clean and accommodated a lot of people. She was kind, compassionate and I would recommend asking for her.
