The Whistle Stop is a 20 year dream in the making. We serve soul warming comfort foods with recipes straight out of the passed down family cookbooks. My mama taught each of her six children to cook good down home country dishes with lots of country seasoning and plenty of butter! My fondest wish is to share the yummy country goodness that she worked so hard to teach each of us. The measure of our success will not be in wealth or riches but in the number of people who return to our door seeking that little taste of down home in the South. Do come see us and sit a spell. We are sure you'll run into somebody you know!
