Awesome arena! Went there for the video game tournament Let's Go Springfield 4 LGS4 and it was awesome great event great location! Would recommend this tournament to any player. They had competition on five or six different games going on at the same time seamlessly!
SRC 40th celebration held here. Great place. Thanks to Drury for letting us come out.
Went to help clear some gymnastics flooring for the Boss. Left with 2weeks' worth of bellyful wealth. The staff was great very nice post covid from this wander from the east.
We attended an MCCA Cheer competition on 2/19/23. We arrived 30 minutes early to get in line for the general admission seating that we paid for in advance. They did not have designated lines roped off, so shortly after we arrived, people started pushing their way into the small area in front of the "admission tables". It was very unorganized and cheer teams started coming through the same entrance, which became very uncomfortable. They were not supposed to enter through the same doors. Drury should have had staff placed in these areas to control the crowds and make sure people were lining up in an orderly fashion rather than cutting in line. We were there for the second session starting at 2:30 PM, and when we sat down, there was trash all over the place. There was plenty of time for staff to at least remove empty drinks, nacho boats, and trash before the second group arrived. The biggest complaint about our experience is that as spectators trying to take videos and pictures of our daughter's final cheer competition, the judges and "Coach Billy" kept walking in front of us the entire time. Additionally, people were allowed to come up and down the aisles during performances, which was incredibly rude. Parents are there waiting for their child to perform and when it's finally their turn, a group of people can just walk right in front of you blocking the view. Drury cheerleaders could have easily stood at each aisle monitoring this situation to keep this from happening. That's how it's done throughout the state at band competitions to alleviate this issue altogether. Drury, you can do better.
Attended a college event here and it was nice. The seats are pretty comfy considering they're plastic stadium seats. I love that they have cup holders. The bathrooms are decent- not amazing, but not terrible. Great lightning in the entire area, though!
Great venue, good amount of wheel chair seating available.
