OAK Barrel Pub

Stopped here on a Sunday with my best friend for a belated birthday celebration. Unfortunately when we walked in the kitchen was closed but the owner suggested maybe a drink and we sat in for a little and played cards. The owners hospitality was great even though we stopped in a little after 9 and talked to us about the old card game we were playing. I will update my review once I experience how the food is.

So I met a friend of mine here to have a brief business meeting. When I arrived I was able to find parking on the street nearby. When I walked in, the place was dimly lit and I asked Javier, the bartender if I can sit at the table top. He said yes and asked if I was going to eat. I told him yes and he then asked if I wanted to sit in the dining area and I declined. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich. My friend ordered the Oak Barrel salad and a glass of wine. The good part about my dish was the chicken was flavored well and the fries were fresh and good. The bread on the other had was dry and falling apart. They definitely need some different rolls. My friend said the salad was pretty good. The bill came to about $28. All in all I had an ok experience.

Never going again. Heard all sorts of good comments. But after multiple attempts waitress couldn’t get my order right. Tried to palm someone elses off on me . Rare burger with cheddar cheese and lettuce and tomatoe is not brain surgery. Never bothered to listen to find out how far off she was and never apologized. I never got my order.

Love the vibe inside, bartender was really cool. Let me try a shot of tequila, will definitely be back !

Awesome quick service, and food. The bar is fun, loud and plays a variety of music. The restaurant is nice, you get to hear the music without the crowd and volume. Old fashioned has club soda in it.

Not bad but you can tell a lot about a place by their bathroom. I like to wash my hands before sitting down and first impressions are roomy but not kept up bathrooms, sets up for disappointment. However, good beer good prices and food was prepared well. Bartender was very attentive. EDIT: Still really like this this place, the food is so consistently good that I asked the bartender to tell the chef how good our food was. Titos deals are incredible.

I Went for the 30th belated W.O.H.S class reunion. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delish! 2 thumbs up!!

Me and my husband went there for an outing. When we arrived, we were greeted. We asked if they had any menus but the guy said no. We ordered wings and a Long Island Ice tea because we have been there before. As we sat we saw another couple enter where they we greeted them given a menu right away. Now I don’t want to sound racist but the people were white and knew what seemed like the owner, an older white woman with white hair. I don’t know if that was the reason on why the guy/ bartender dismissed our question as fast as he gave the other couple their menu. Also when my husband’s card was declined due to chip damage the bartender yelled across the room that the card was declined. Very unprofessional. This will be my last time coming here. I was very disappointed.

This restaurant had an excellent Tuesday Trivia Night, but the actual restaurant had awful service and bad food. When we went to place our order, we asked the waiter to check what kind of oil they use for their french fries since my son has a peanut allergy. The waiter was too lazy to check. I ordered a mushroom burger. 30 minutes later, he came out to tell me they had no mushrooms. Then he said he would take the burger off the bill. Sure enough, when the bill arrived, the burger charge was on there. The fries were burned. This place is bad. Come for the trivia night and just order a beer. They can't mess that up, I think.

Decent food and beer selection, but could use a larger selection of darker beers.
