Brian and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful with guiding us through the funeral process for my Aunt. They took the time to walk us through the selection and paperwork process, had helpful recommendations and samples to review, and provided truly first class service for the memorial and the gravesite ceremonies. I highly recommend them if you are in need.
Very nice people to work with at a difficult time. Bryan took me through the process of finding a niche for my family’s cremains. The building is beautiful and I loved the glass niche option. Very pleased and comforted with my choice of Oak Hill Cemetery.
What a beautiful resting place for my parents. My Father's burial was 28 years ago, my mother's more recently. The cemetery is well maintained and the services provided were very professional. Thank you!
During one of the most trying times of my life, they provided phenomenal services. Bryan Harter was an absolute joy to work with. He was understanding, caring and accommodating. Brian May has taken time to follow up with us any provided information on resources that we could use. My whole family is going to be buried here.
If it's a star rating, then I will give it a one. The one is for the staff being friendly. I have several family members there, but this yesterday was the first time I've been in the chapel for a service. The good part was that the staff was friendly and the chapel itself is beautiful inside. I noticed wall spaces for cremains. The spaces had a glass window with the urn inside. I got a small glimpse of the person's life. Some had photos in the spacessections, some had inspirational plaques. One had a some dolphins and other items which indicated the person loved water. That was very interesting and I told my husband I'd think about doing something like that because my plans are cremation. Now the negative part...the place was was infested with bugs, gnats possibly. Dead bugs were in the spaces where the cremains were. Dead bugs were all over the floors and the seats. It was obvious the place needed to be sprayed and cleaned. Live bugs were flying all over the place. People were constantly waving and fanning the bugs from their faces. Bugs were flying around my sister. One staff member waved bugs away from my sister's face as they closed the coffin. What a horrible experience for a family saying their last goodbyes. How do you make this right? The family cannot have another service, but you can give an apology and a reimbursement, as you should. That was absolutely awful.
Everyone at Oak Hill was very respectful of our wishes. They worked with us to make sure everything was as we wanted. The staff went above and beyond to help us in every step of the process. I never felt rushed, everything was explained fully and no surprises down the road. I would recommend Oak Hill to anyone facing the loss of a loved one.
My family was very pleased with the caring professional people that helped manage our parents burial at Oak Hill. They have really gone over and above to help us care for and maintain the memorial. Thank you.
Oak Hill was very helpful as we needed a concrete foundation under our parents grave marker, and they kept in touch to see if we needed anything. Very caring folks
Great people! Thank you so much for letting me come in while my car got broke and it was snowing. It was really kind of you. Thank you for all support
Chapel hill helped my family in a time of need and made it easier and very helpful!!
