We walk through this quiet, beautiful cemetery daily, since we moved to a neighborhood near by in 2009. The crew is constantly working and mowing to keep things looking nice. A paved winding road makes it's way through the entire property, which makes it is easy to access sites if you have trouble walking. The trees and hills make it such a peaceful place. There is plenty of room between each site. One of the things I love the most is flowers stay on the grave throughout the year only to be seasonally removed for cleaning. We are looking into purchasing space now for the future. I trust St Paul Cemetery to take care of us when we are gone so it is easier for our family.
I’d like to give you a negative 5. Absolutely disgusted at the lack of upkeep. I couldn’t even see my grandmother and great grandparents headstones. We spent 20 mins pulling the long grass and weeds away. Stop being lazy and disrespectful and take some pride in this beautiful cemetery where loved ones are buried. St Paul’s use to be one of the most beautiful and well maintained cemeteries. Is it under new management?
I went to my father's grave today to bring an Easter cross, 4 weeks since he was buried there. I was totally disgusted at what I seen. It looked like a dump, there was water at the foot of his grave and the head of his grave and the flowers, from 4 weeks ago, were still there. Old dead flowers floating in muddy water, plastic containers, ribbons, bows, everything. I was so upset knowing my father was laying under this mess. I did talk to the foreman, who apologized and said he would take care of the dead flowers and all, but couldnt fill the dirt in until it dries out. He said because of the weather they havent been able to clean it up??? Excuse me, but last week we had many beautiful days, and even if the weather was bad, they could have still removed the NOW TRASH from my fathers grave. I will go back this weekend, hope i don't see this pig sty again
I couldn't find my grandparents headstones..it's been a while but every headstone was covered with grass and dirt. I should've found it. The cemetery condition was pitiful.
Tom was the person we met with about getting our grave plots. He was very helpful and courteous. The process was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend St. Paul Churchyard.
