Oak Park Inn

It's a great little place to stay. The owners were very friendly and the help was so nice. Everything was clean. They even have a fire pit to hang out at. You can walk to just about everything.....and the bakery out front was amazing. They even have clean towels to wipe off your motorcycle. We just loved this place.....we will be staying here again. Rooms: Rooms were clean and neat. It's not the biggest room......but we thought it was everything we needed. Safety: Very peaceful feeling here....Not far from the police station. Walkability: Bakery..... places to eat....a few bars......Oh and lots of places to shop at. Food & drinks: Bakery..... Steakhouse..... Pizza.....and a few good bars to try out. Noteworthy details: The owner is a veteran! It's not a grand resort....but it's a great little place to stay. Biker friendly and everyone was so nice. Setting around the fire pit we met alot of the people who were saying their. All in a nutshell "We loved it and will be back"

If your looking for a clean old style inn this is it! If you want luxury may not be for you! Super nice people, coffee and snacks in the office at 6am! Nice to pull up to your door, Can’t beat the price!

Nice location and very nice staff. Quaint older motel but nice and clean. Full of characters and charm. Nearby activities: Situated in downtown Waynesville it's close to shopping and restaurants. Also convenient to Cherokee and the Great Smoky mountains.

Great location, everything you might need is in walking distance. Host's are fabulous folks! If your in the area, definitely check them out.Rooms: 5/5

Great exterior, poor interior. The shower and carpet are gross. Bed bolted together with 2x4's... Place is like stepping back to the 60's and hasn't been remodeled. Feel bad to write this. Loved the owners but I won't return.Rooms: 2/5

A clean and quiet establishment in the mountains, great for motorcycle riding. The owners were very nice, courteous, helpful.

We brought our two big dogs to stay here and it was a perfect pet friendly spot! The rooms are not anything fancy, but it was perfect for our needs. The grounds were landscaped nicely, and lots of outdoor seating areas. Would stay here again!

The Oak Park Inn is a decent place to stay, close to downtown Waynesville .2 miles and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. As others have said, the rooms are dated but clean. I was surprised how soundproof it was considering the age. I never heard either of my neighbors. Great for motorcycles, assigned parking spots directly in front of the room. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We've stayed here so many times. They are always super friendly and the coffee's always on. It's conveniently located in the heart of town. The bakery out front is amazing and it's walking distance from other good eateries and shops. It's a great place to rest your head if you're up for adventure or a lovely place to relax if you want to enjoy the mountains & small town atmosphere.
