Oakdale Care Center

Oakdale took care of my loved one at the end of her time. The amount of staff on duty at all times is far above any other facility I have set foot in. My loved one was well cared for with love and dignity. The staff truly cares about their Residents and shows it in a daily basis. More than one time our family requested changes to be made for our loved one's benefit. The changes were always promptly addressed. Oakdale goes above and beyond to help their Residents thrive in the Skilled Nursing facility!

I've just recently started working at Oakdale again after learning of changes in management and have experienced nothing but hearts open and arms wide. After working through the first few months of COVID-19 and providing one on one care with patients inflicted by coronavirus and beforehand with those not, I experienced just how much love that residents of nursing homes need and crave. I commend the supervision and compassion we as staff are currently receiving at the hands of Director of Nursing, Julia Hillis and Assistant Director of Nursing, Amber Wedge. They, as well as the other diligent employees providing care to the residents of this facility, do their very best to ensure the most uplifting, comfortable, and safe environment possible regardless of the patient's care/lack of before being admitted.

Oakdale Care Center is one of the most caring facilities in Poplar Bluff Mo. Coming from personal experience, Oakdale’s Quality of Care is definitely greater then most. Staffing is better and all the workers go above and beyond to reach the residents wants and needs. 10/10 recommend anyones loved one to be treated with care at this facility!

I work here 7 years ago as ADON and left r/t management treatment of staff.. I was asked to interview for the DON after meeting the new Administrator I decided to give it a go. I took this position a few months ago, and it's been a up hill battle and we are making it to the top: the staff I have now I would let care for any of my family. They truly are the best!!! From housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, office staff to my staff. We are making it great!!!

I’ve worked here under different management a few times. The way the place is ran now is amazing. They care about their residents. The DON and Administrator go above and beyond for the residents and employees. Especially during hard times and the pandemic. If you have a loved one who calls Oakdale home then you already know Kim and Julia are like family.

Great place for family to stay. Staff really cares. Administrator, DON, and ADON all three put in the extra time and effort to make sure resident's needs are met. Couldn't recommend more.

Best place to care for your loved ones! Absolutely love them. Amber tge ADON is kind and always does her best to answer no matter the time or how small.

You know a lot of facilities are facing staffing crisis, good help etc… Oak-Dale Skilled is thriving! Amazing nurses, one of the best DONs I’ve worked under, definitely impressed not only that but they have CNA/ CMT classes which is hard to find.

Residents are loved and treated like family here! Many great changes are being made to the facility and the current staff is phenomenal! Would recommend this place for sure!
