Oakhurst is a community based, not for profit, primary health care center. We have been providing quality, affordable, culturally sensitive and accessible healthcare to the residents of Dekalb County since 1980.
Oakhurst provides a complete array of primary healthcare services for all of the life cycles inclusive of Prenatal, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Mental Health and eldercare.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Oakhurst accepts most insurance plans and provides services on a sliding scale for those without insurance. With locations in Conyers, Decatur and Stone Mountain, GA,
we are available to address your healthcare needs.

I hope Dr. Greene-Johnson, Ms. Harriet and Ashley sees this I REALLY appreciate what you all did for me today. Soon as I walked through the door the energy from security and Ashley was unmatched. I stayed calm as I had just drove from the Stone Mountain location and had a bad experience. won’t go into details however the customer service at Stone Mountain and Decatur location IS NOT the same. When Ms. Harriet recognized how urgent my matter was she immediately assist me no questions asked. Like she knew I was in distress and needed help. She made it her business to assist me. I didn’t get to see Dr. Greene-Johnson because I just needed paperwork signed to keep my job but I know her spirit was in a good place. SHOUT OUT TO DECATUR LOCATION!!!! I really appreciate y’all
Whatever you do DO NOT TREAT at this location especially WITH MONIQUE ATKINS at this location, her and her whole team is TRASH!!!! they don’t return messages/or phone calls not even for prescriptions, the medical assistants and have very nasty attitudes and are no help at all. They will suggest switching providers before actually providing help. This doctor office is HORRIBLE. Bring April Bright back please ! Medcura have officially lost a patient

Had an appointment at 8:30 am to see the obgyn and another appointment at 8:40am. These people decide they aren't gonna open until after 8:45am after both my appointments who does that. This my first appointment, been waiting for an ultrasound for weeks, and these folks aren't gonna open on time... DO NOT COME HERE, RESCHEDULE SOME WHERE ELSE... they wanna sit down at 8am and eat chik fila
Kiari, who schedules appointments was extremely rude over the phone and unaccommodating. I called multiple times and she kept transferring me to a voicemail without answering my questions and did not want to help. It was very frustrating. They are also over 10 mins late so far to my telehealth appointment that Kiari recommended that I set in order to get a refill on my prescription. Update: The provider is now an hour late to my telehealth appointment which is a huge inconvenience because I have other engagements after this appointment. This is extremely disappointing that I’m still waiting. This will be my last appointment at Medcura.
Dr.Crumbie and majority of the employees that work through or with her have shown to be some of the most unprofessional, inattentive, and impatient offices that I have ever dealt with. They don’t actually want to serve you, just do enough to get by.
Very bad peoples working there I never go again I do have my blood results no one communicat with me. I changed my doctor and go another clinic.
So I thought I was winning because each time I came I heard different people complain about the male dentist so when I made an appointment I made sure to tell them not to schedule me with him. They fill out my card and tell me to come back to see Dr. Grace. I get to the location on the day and time of my appointment only for them to tell me that she is at another location, however she is no longer with the practice. I informed them that I made the appointment at that location and at no time did the receptionist tell me that she was at another location. Furthermore, why didn't someone call to let me know that she was no longer with the practice? Blank stares and no clue. They could reschedule me for an appointment in December. I told them no thank you and I took it as a sign that I needed to find somewhere else to go. The OBGYN is wonderful. The optometrist was great but they didn't verify my insurance first, but it was still a great experience. The nurse practioner was decent. I wish they had a better process for refilling prescriptions and reaching people because this little portal that they "use" is not it, and it seems like they only check it on Mondays. Update a year later: No one answers thr phone or messages in the portal to the point I drove to the ADMINISTRATION building and spoke to someone. I have since changed OBGYN, Primary Doctor and Podatrist. They make appointments for you and then ask you WHY ARE YOU THERE? Ninja warriors, y'all called me!!! Don't bother making an appointment with them...if you can.
Everything is slow I called this number today 20xs to schedule an appointment just to be told they don’t have availability until august of the 5 different people I spoke with today nothing of them sounded like they like their job.. finding a new primary care and will be following up with my healthcare provider because they need to know how they clients are being treats. They should have kept oakhurst.
Superb care from the parking lot to the rear of the facility – the dental office which was my stop. The entire l team Dr. Leeks, the Dental Hygienist and other assistants are truly wonderful and provided me with outstanding service. I was treated with dignity and respect. They explained / educated me on my dental procedures step-by-step. More specifically ; The beginning to the healing process when someone has periodontal disease. & other dental concerns. They responded clearly and concisely as to any questions that I had regarding dental procedures. I also noticed the warm care and attention that was offered to children who were receiving dental care w/o fear. I found the place to be very clean well sanitized. The utmost caution was taken to ensure that there would be no spread of disease amidst the public health crisis that we are facing now. I highly recommend without reservation anyone who is in need a dental care to meet the dental team at MedCura Health. They will provide you with expert care and lasting results.
