This is a wonderful community and everyone here has a heart of gold. In my experience here the staff is very caring and attentive to the residents. I would recommend this community would trust them with my family member any day.
I have family here and the facility is moving in a positive direction due to their new management staff members. The DON is very approachable and welcoming. They had my family member up and listening to music and the residents seemed to be enjoying themselves. The food looked really good and was hot! I love whats happening here. Looking forward to more!
This facility, in my opinion, is understaffed, disorganized, and lacks the necessary skills to care for patients who need rehab. My mother was not fed on the day she arrived, was not given her meds that day, and no one cared for her throughout the night, although she attempted to notify the staff with the call button. She lay in her own waste and urine until morning. She was there a total of four days before we could get her moved. The care was poor the entire time. Supervisors seemed to have empathy but said they were understaffed and overworked. They also were dealing with getting all Covid patients moved to another part of the facility in an attempt to stop transmission to other patients. This place smelled horrific from the time you entered until you left. I had to intercept one of their patients escaping in a wheelchair, who was nonverbal, through the emergency exit. There was no Attendant at the desk. This place can only be described as scary for both patients and families who visit. I would Never let any other family member check into this care facility.
I did not have a good experience with my mother. Don't want to write a book but they were unprofessional and neglectful at times. It was a ghetto experience.
Oakmont is one of the Friendliest and Welcoming facilities I've ever visited. The employees make you feel at home. I will definitely be recommending them to any and everyone who needs rehab.

This center really gave me a different outlook on facilities. The staff was nothing last then amazing. They were super helpful answered all of my questions and made me feel beyond comfortable. I am looking forward to our next step!!
This place is for only people who are independent enough and capable enough to get to the cafeteria and bathroom on their own. I would not recommend any bed-ridden patients to go here. It is understaffed in both nurses and care staff. The building is old and in disrepair. The floors, walls and furniture are old and very uncomfortable. There is overwhelming stench throughout the building and particularly in the hallways/bedrooms. There is only one ice machine for the whole building so they have communal ice chests for the wards. Many of the employees are overwhelmed and very stressed. Enter at your own or loved ones risk.
Staff is awesome, very knowledgeable and caring towards my loved ones that's been seeing them for years.
Wonderful building. Very clean. The staff are very attentive to the needs of the residents. The real jewel is the administrator, Marilyn Booker. She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise of 30+ years and truly cares about each and every person in that building. Very blessed to have come across this establishment and the wonderful team that cares for those that are the most vulnerable population!
