OAKROOM ARTISTS:The Oakroom Artists is the only membership-by-invitation artists association in the Albany/Schenectady area of New York.
The Oakroom Artists is a tax exempt arts organization.
The Oakroom Artists support the visual arts in the Capital Region through donations to local arts organizations. They sponsor the James Gilliland/George Weinheimer Award of $100. which is given to an artist participating in the annual Schenectady Stockade Villagers Outdoor Art Show. They also sponsor a deserving art student from Schenectady High School with an award of $100.
