Lots of room to run and certainly lots of shade. People were very nice and were good about watching their dog and allowing to play and run. A great hose down station as well as filling up the many buckets of water scattered around. This park reminds me a lot of Carolina Pines Dog Park.
BEST DOG PARK EVER!! I am not an outdoor type at all. I have to make myself take the pups out. This park was wonderful. Tons of tree coverage. You don’t feel too hot or exposed at all. Lots of space for the pups and a great place to walk yourself. I will definitely go back. Take the pups. You’ll thank me later!
Great park, lots of shade. Water was available for dogs to drink and to play in kiddie pool. Some chairs, might want to bring your own.
This is the largest dog park I’ve ever been to!! The best kept, largest, cleanest, the dog owners are so nice. Shade in the summer. Lots of trees. Love it here
Great park for the spring and summer seasons. A canopy of trees covers the entire park so the heat is low. The small dog section has a good deal of space, and the large dog side is massive. The ground is entirely dirt, so it's not the go-to park after rain, but there's other great parks for those conditions, so I don't hold it against oakwood. Plenty of seating for owners, and everyone is conversational. Hard to go wrong with this park... as long as it hasn't rained
i love love love love LOVEEE! this dog park. It’s super big! i have a miniature golden doodle and i like how the small part of the dog area is super big too. the owners are nice and really look out for their dog. the area is clean ppl pick up after their dogs. there’s lots of water bowls everywhere and water hose so you pup would never be thirsty. such a nice dog park 10/10
A great place to take your furry friends! Has both a big and small dog yard, and there are always extra bags and plenty of water dishes. Lots of human seating options as well. There are restrooms and a picnic area available just outside the fenced in area if needed as well as other ballfields for the kids. Plenty of parking spaces too!
Been here a few times since getting a new puppy. The people I've encountered was very nice and it seems liked a little community is being formed here. The park was clean and the bathrooms was decent. I would definitely come back here. No complaints here... Oh and my puppy likes going here too. Leash free, if you're wondering
Im reluctant to encourage people to come here. Its so nice. The pet owners seem considerate and conscientious. The shaded parking and tree fillied park make it really pleasant even in the summer heat. Restrooms: The restrooms may only be available when the softball fields are being used. That would need to be verified. Dog-friendliness: Its a dog park with lots of shaded space to run. There is a separate lot intended for smaller dogs. Theres a large staging area, and there are waste cans positioned periodically along the perimeter. Picnic tables and chairs are scattered around the lots. Picnic area: Tables are available within the park that could be used for a picnic style experience. The dogs may want to crash your party tho.
My dog loved it. Kept him on a leash since he’s never been around so many dogs at once. Park was clean and well maintained, will definitely bring him back soon!
