I’ve had three family members stay at oakwood and two of them passed away there. The care was phenomenally tied to their personalities and every single one of their staff is friendly, nice, energetic and punctual. They seem to be on the ball for everything they have their hands in and they have their hands in a lot for a facility like theirs. When it came time for my mom to pass, I can’t even express the gratitude I have for their staff, it’s simply beyond words that I could ever express how thankful with our choice to put family there.

I used to provide mental  health therapy here for over a year with this facility being one of 12 that I visited.  This was by far one of the best.  Staff always were friendly, encouraging and supportive of the patients and me.  I would recommend my own mother live here if she were alive.  SSD is awesome and easy to work with. I drove from Evansville at least 1 time a week and always looked forward to this visit.

my husband and I live in the villas  best thing we ever did moving  here Everyone is so caring and Loving treats you like family   The villa Director Polly Story goes over and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. We have a housekeeper named Laura who is a very sweet young lady.  My husband and  I have both been patients at the rehab center and were really treated wonderful.    Even when I had a stroke and could not get out they brought our meals to our villa. I could go on forever and not name everyone in all the departments that really go the extra mile.  I would highly recommend living here

Oakwood is such a great place to work. Resident are treated like family. I highly recommend family and friends if you need therapy-hospice stay-respite stay-or long term care. Activity does such a great job doing activities with the residents. our campus does several live a dream with the residents. OAKWOOD I GIVE YOU A 5 STARR

Most of the were fine The management and caring for the patient were worse than a stockyard, extremely rude and uncaring! My mother was there for a little over 12 hours and they had her in tears. She was suppose to be in the rehab section and wound up in the nursing home section. The Dr. there is just a genuine smart ass and the lady administrator was worse. They sent my mother home with no instructions or anything. Plus they wouldn't even assist her to the car! I wouldn't send my worst enemy there!

My father-in-law was tagged with an ankle tracker, with no notification to the family, even though he was not a flight risk.  Someone left unauthorized and went across the street for lunch and a drink.  I suppose they thought that was justification.  Several things went missing from his room.  He does not get a fresh change of clothes daily, at least a clean shirt!  He get's meds from the VA but Oakwood provides meds sometimes and charges HUGE for that, even though we've asked them not to do that.  Now, no Medicaid bed for men, only women right now so we have to move him to Jasper, away from this home town, family and friends.  Very sad and no consideration or compassion from Oakwood!

My grandma has been to Oakwood twice an was extremely pleased with both visits. She  loved the food, family brunches, and all of the friendly staff.  I would highly recommend Oakwood for your family.

I have known Oakwood to be the most caring and family oriented health campus in the area. I would definitely take my loved one there.

I have had several family members in all parts of the facility.  The staff is wonderful and very caring. They do a wonderful job.

A wonderful place to work.  Company gives back to employees in many different ways.  Enjoy working with residents and their families.
