OC Sports Equipment buys and sells used sporting equipment! This place was formerly a Play it Again Sports. The equipment available here ranges from brand new and barely used things all the way to barely usable, but still valuable. There are baseballs and golf balls by the hundreds! Prices are very reasonable! The store changes constantly as a result of buys and sells. Some large exercise equipment is available, but in general the products here are intended for youth and action sports. There are tons things for winter and summer sports, and the friendly atmosphere is better than any major retailer! Its more sustainable to reuse, so the store gets extra marks for cleaning and maintaining old gear and giving it a second life! Mike, the owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. Good selection of fitness equipment weights bars and many more items for weigh lifting. Although their main focus in base this place definitely has a diversity of sports equipment. The prices you really can't beat especially for weighs since they can get pricy online. They have good quality used sports equipment at good prices. Parking on the right of the building or in the back.
First time in this place since it was last play it again sports. Took my kids here with all the intentions of spending money as a local business instead of ordering everything online for cheaper. The person that was at the counter was a bit dry at first pretty much take it or leave it kind of attitude. I proceeded on looking at the products, one of my sons grabbed a weight from the weight rack. The dry attitude guy just about lost it he started to rep remand my son I told my son to put it back then the guy just lost it talking down to my son. Honestly I didn’t say anything to not cause a scene in front of my kids, but my blood was boiling. This goes for the guy in the counter you need to learn how to speak to kids and if there parents are around DONOT take it up with the kid you take it up with the adult. DONT MESS WITH PEOPLES KIDS. Take it up with the adult. Never going back to this place I’ll just order my stuff online and wish luck to the owner of this place you will go broke with this employee and if you were the owner your in the wrong business learn customer service first then open a business.
Our go-to for used sports equipment. They always have what we are looking for and the owner, Mike is knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions. Highly recommend for any sporting goods equipment!
Highly recommend OC sports for used and new baseball gear. I ended up purchasing catchers gear and a couple great bats for 7u-10u Little league. Also, bought weight hitting balls for great price.
Went in thinking that this might not be the place for me...that thought quickly changed when the manager on duty asked me what I was looking for. He helped me out and even gave me a great deal on the motocross items I was looking for. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The manager is very nice and is not trying to just get money out of you. 10/10 will be back very soon.
Great selection of used equipment at reasonable prices, staff is super helpful & engaging. I'll be back once my son grows out of the $6 cleats I recently purchased. Thx OCSE!
Quite unfriendly and cold experience " it is what it is take it or leave it kind of attitude" Two stars only because they have an interesting variety to choose from. I bought a bicycle rack by the way it was not that cheap though.
I really like these guys and quite often they have what I'm looking for. Sometimes the equipment I want to sell there is too old, but they might do an even trade with me for an item that I want. They have a unique selection and the people are really nice here.
Great spot to pick up new and used sports and exercise equipment for the family. As a father of young children, its a great spot to pick up used equipment Jr. golf clubs, etc when trying to expose the kids to different sports. Why spend the big bucks if theyre not going to stick with it or enjoy it? So, thats where OCSE comes in. Plus, they have a wide selection, and an extremely friendly staff who is always willing to help.
