I can't say enough about the trainers here. We came for a few lessons and we have now been here five years. My daughter loves Elizabeth and always looks forward to going to the barn. The lesson horses are safe and perfect for beginners. If you are looking for a place to learn about horses, you have found your home!!!!

My private adult beginner English riding lesson was scheduled with instructor, Lori. OEA knew she would not be available to instruct my lesson. Instead of rescheduling me, a lady from the office, who is not an instructor, gave me “the lesson”. I basically paid full price for experience on a horse and in a saddle. I emailed the owner of OEA after my “lesson” to state my disappointment and never got a response back. Clearly she is not concerned about what effect a bad review could have on her business. She is more concerned about the bottom line.
We were visiting Ocala from out of town and my two daughters, ages 7 and 9, who are beginners, had two great semi-private riding lessons. Terrific indoor facility with lots of very calm, friendly horses accustomed to being ridden by kids. If you're visiting from out of town and can swing it, I would recommend booking a lesson in the morning or early afternoon before the after-school rush. Will definitely go back!
I went there and tried my first-time horse riding. The people there are very friendly and considerate. The horses are in good condition and so docile. Overall, I really enjoy the experience and horse riding is really fun. I would go there again when I have free time.
I couldn't say more nice things about the riding academy and Liz as a coach. She is patient, professional, and truly elevates your skills. The Ocala Equestrian Academy should be the only option in town.
Great trainers, great horses and all around great environment. Everyone is friendly.
My 5yo daughter has been riding at OEA since she could walk. We adore the wonderful lesson horses, the facility, instructors and staff. Elizabeth is wonderful - this is a top-notch barn in town, no matter what level of riding you are at. Adults too!
This place is awesome. The entire facility is nice with large fans and most everything is under a roof. Gotta be at least 10 degrees cooler in the main arena versus outside I would think. Lesson horses are great, and staff is super nice too. Good with safety and knowledgeable in every way. Variety of riding options. Just a top notch program I think. Seasoned pro or a new rider, ya can't go wrong here.
Over Spring Break this year, I took my kids to Ocala Equestrian Academy for horse riding lessons. We were scheduled with Elizabeth and another young trainer. The facility was clean, the horses were great, and the lessons were very enjoyable by my kids. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of taking horse riding lessons for kids and/or adults. Their facility is top notch.
