Literally wish I could give this place zero stars. I chose this pharmacy because it was a local business and I wanted to support them, clearly a big mistake. My first time going was on a Friday to pick up a prescription for medication to help insomnia, my prescription was written by an Advent Health Heathbrook doctor, which they have pamphlets for ironically on their table for distribution. After it was ineffective, my SAME doctor sent a new prescription to Ocala Pharmacy on Monday since obviously insomnia is something that a doctor would like to quickly address. From the second I came in the busted, unpleasant pharmacy tech is combative and clearly has few pleasures in life other than giving people a hard time. She then loudly tells the pharmacist " can you talk to him because he clearly doesn't want to hear it from me" after providing no true reason as to why they could not fill the prescription. Then the pharmacist who is just as unprofessional as the other woman, tells me that he doesn't feel comfortable unless it has been at least 3 days. Friday dosage, Saturday Dosage, Sunday dosage... that is 3 days you incompetent fool. Won't even call the doctor to confirm or raise whatever bogus concerns he has. Clearly treated me this way since I am 30 and not 80 like the rest of his clientele. Do NOT support a business that puts their egos above the health AS PRESCRIBED by the doctor. Also, don't hire unfortunate, nasty techs who don't have basic communication skills or let their biases impact their decision making. Off to Walgreens!

The staff is very accommodating. They deliver my prescriptions at no charge.

This place ia amazing. The employees are friendly and very knowledgeable. I love the phone calls telling me my prescription is ready. They are quick and so is the drive thru. Give them a try! You wont be disappointed.

Great home pharmacy! My granddaddy was a pharmacist and it brings on the nostalgia like I was a kid again.

Very friendly and professional staff and quick, easy service. I needed my medication before my trip and though it wasn’t in stock, they were able to accommodate me in a timely manner. The process was quick and easy.

Always very helpful and never have had one issue. The woman whom helps me Liz is always great, she is a incredible person who really cares and tries to help. The Pharmicist Bobby is also fantastic and I recommend anyone who is looking for a great pharmacy, and a place that they know you, are genuine, always take good care of you. Worse Pharmacy with whom I have ever dealt. Since this review I made 3 months ago, service has improved greatly!

Here's why I gave Ocala Pharmacy a one star but if I could I would give them no star. My wife who has siezers had her medicine at this pharmacy and from the beginning has had a hard time filling her scripts. We were told several times they were on back order. Well, I can understand that except my wife has to have her meds as soon as insurance releases them. So, we call when Insurance would fill them to find out they have decided to take a three day weekend. It was Memorial day weekend. What Pharmacy is closed for three days?? Well, we decided to move her scripts to Wal-Mart knowing they have a much greater chance of filling them on time. Here's when things went bad- the Walmart pharmacist called over to Ocala Pharmacy to transfer the scripts and they sent one of 4 of them. So we talked to Wal-Mart again and told them there were three others. Another phone call to O. Ph. and they told told Wal-Mart the scripts were expired. Big lie! We got the pill bottle and went back to Wal-Mart and showed them Ocala pharm was lieing. So the pharmacist called Ocala pharm a third time and was told my wife didn't exist is there system. How can anyone trust a company that would be that underhanded? Not to mention closed for a three day weekend?  In response... The truth can not be hidden behind excuses. They we're phone calls not faxes.

I have been going there since they open. Good fast service and Liz is spectacular as a pharmacist. Very friendly atmosphere.
