A "walmart" type store which sells an array of products for a discount. There is a wide selection of items of all kinds. The store is plain, but well organized. The store has sales weekly. You can get the sales by email. The major flaw is number of cashiers. I was there today. The place is essentially similar. I just added newer picture. I still recommend this store.
Ocean State is a good store for many affordable household and recreational items. As far as locations, this location is, in my opinion the best stocked location I have visited in the new England area
This place looks like a hurricane hits it on the daily. But once you get the wreckage you'll find that this place has a lot of stuff that's really good. Makes me feel like an Easter egg hunt.
Not my type of store. A bit like the old fashioned five and dime stores. Lots of random stuff that is different each time you go. Customers are odd and off putting, a bit like visiting a Walmart in a rural part of New Hampshire.
The tall man with the gorgeous long hair deserves a raise. On multiple occasions at the Tewksbury store I have needed something very heavy brought to the front and my car and every time this guy ends up carrying it over ONE shoulder. I hope you keep him.
Like that great hole-in-the-wall restaurant, Ocean State Job Lot has a great selection of a wide variety of discount products. We were pleasantly surprised with many of the upscale odds and ends at low prices!
Great prices great sales staff very friendly
Got a lot for a little New, 5/14/2023 Same ol....... Selection is limited, but one can always find at least some of what is on the list at a great price. Some days you can hit paydirt and leave with 2, 3 or more bags. Other days, only a few items.
Good stuff Not cheap as it use to be Always something different to look at
Has a huge seasonal section close to entrance. Pet, garden, kitchen ,toys, food, clothing, cosmetics/skincare. I'm sure I'm forgetting some items they carry. Easy to impulse buy. They are a 501c 3 tax exempt organization ,so saving your receipts is a must because they are income tax deductible.
