Adorable and cozy little casino! Very clean as it's non smoking, but a very nice smoker patio right off the bar. Great selection of new slot machines, only one or two were out of service. No sticky buttons to be found! Draft beers were only $4, almost half what I'm used to in the Detroit casinos downtown. Literally perfect beer pour. Both bathrooms were sparkling and the staff was friendly. A great unexpected spot just outside Mackinaw City!
The casino is in a whole new building, VERY nice!! It is small but clean, cozy and well maintained. Unfortunately if you're looking for video poker, all 6 machines were in the SMOKING area, with the exception of only 2 at the bar. Considering the numerous machines, I felt this was poorly thought out. Also both my husband and I thought the machines were set TIGHT for payout! For the amount of time we both spent there we should have been ahead at least some of the time.
We had a great time at this small casino. People told us that it was Tiny but really there were over 250 machines very well spread out and usually you don't move that often anyway. Mostly non-smoking, but there was an area I think designated for smoking but I'm not sure about that. There was a window partition. We had the prime rib special on Saturday night for $20 which was just okay. The seating is practically in the casino with no real separation and it feels like a snack shop that happens to serve dinner items. The people were very nice though.
This is a newer casino, and it's quite small, but we love it for that! It has never been very crowded when we have visited, and we have always easily found machines to play on. This is mostly a slot machine and electronic machines casino. Again, partially due to it being a smaller one. They do now have more options for food, and a small little gift shop inside. The staff has always been kind to us when we visit. Sometimes we use this as a take a break point when we travel through here. It's nice to just get out of the car and play a few games and not feel to intimidated.
This rating is based on the Deli Food. At least the chicken tenders, which were absolutely awful. Everything else at our table was great, Bartender who waited on us could have smiled at least once? Tho in her defense we did have a child along only there for food. . Casino appeared clean w helpful friendly employees, we were greeted and escorted to the deli by a very nice man, and additionally had a second woman stop by our table as we waited to bring menus and help us in the few minutes that we had to wait after placing our order. Overall a good experience.
Ok crazy night for me! Didn’t even know this place existed until I saw it just out and about driving around on vacation here… not sure how I missed this when I looked up the area anyway.. it is very small but very awesome and very clean with awesome friendly staff…Now with that, I was going to give it four stars I like writing reviews so I told myself I can afford to lose $300 maybe $400Like I did in Vegas I just have gambled enough to know if you figure you’re gonna lose, it won’t be as painful lol so lost $350 very quickly I like playing a lot of lines on the machinesNo biggieI DJ a gentleman’s club back in North Carolina and I do all right So it was time to go I lost, but I had a great time for the 1.5 Hrs here.. but I kept thinking about the one Benji I had left in my pocket So wth right! And I passed by a machine that had a little wheel spinning thing going on & put $100 in..10m later won all the $450 back & came out a head by $250! Wooooo Was down to $30 or so & not even sure what I hit but it was big man. It was a lot of bells and whistles. That got me to thinking,were they trying to make sure I come back again. By finishing off with a big win? Haha Anyway, with that win…5 stars! I think that was the first time I really ever came out ahead! When I went to Vegas, I hit $200 really quick on the first machine I played! But was there for five days, not going to stop with 5 days left! by the end,lost about $150. I was cool with that. Lol. But this was way cooler actually coming out ahead. If I’m ever in this area again, I will come play some more…If ever around this area? You should give this little neat and fantastic Casino a try! Small but clean place. And of course I donated didn't win lol. Complimentary coffee was good! Also has small restaurant in it I believe. Hope to visit again
Won on 1st stop after Mackinac bridge,won 60$ and 110$,and on way back to lower Mi,lost.They do give you 10$ in play,your 1st time,I liked that.The Island casino did not give 0
Not bad atmosphere for a casino, wasn’t punished by tobacco smells upon entry, which was great. Fun new machines, I personally just like to play penny slots, and spent hours clicking my penny bets on some fun games. :
