The City of Norwich Fire Department is a combination type fire
department of both career and volunteer staffing which provides the residents of
the City and Town of Norwich with 24 hour fire protection and The City of Norwich
and the towns of Norwich, North Norwich, Preston, Plymouth and the
surrounding area with advanced life support EMS response by the career firefighters.
The City of Norwich Fire Department is commonly requested to provide mutual aide
fire and EMS response to the surrounding communities.
