I was in about 4 months ago. My experience here was absolutely horrible. A nightmare. All the nurses were horrible never checked in on me. I was in an isolated room. The only reason why I give it a 1 star rating is because there was 1 nurse that actually cared and came in and checked in on me. I'll never forget what she looked like and how kind she was to me. God bless her.
ER is always empty but still the slowest ER on the face of the planet. Been here a few times with various family members over the years and is always so slow. Take the time to drive to Riverside or Dublin Methodist. You won’t regret the 20 min drive.
Nobody likes going to the E R. Other than maybe an expectant mother. On weds I was in need of Healthcare. The E R experience at this hospital is top notch. From the intake specialists to the nurses to my Dr. A Grady, every person and interaction made me feel confident in my care. I just wanted to let the world know you guys did a fantastic job, Thank You!
Had the most wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind and made me feel very comfortable before and after my surgery. My nurses were the absolute best. Made my husband and I laugh and smile. Heather you are amazing!! I wish I remembered my nurses name after surgery was a bit groggy lol because she was also amazing. We need more nurses like you in the world
Had oral surgery where all my teeth were pulled including an impacted tooth. CouId not get ahold of the dentist for anything. So went to ER to get help with pain. They were able to help me once a week for 2 weeks with narcotics 5mg quantity of 12. On 3rd week i felt as if i needed just one more script and then i will be over that rough painful healing phase. something also bit/stung me when I was asleep and I'm hoping not venomous red, infected, starting to turn black at bite site and swollen. KEEP IN MIND I TRIED EVERYTHING OTC AND EVERY DOCTOR AND DENTIST AND NO ONE HELPED ME. ****Update*******: when i asked for charge nurse to speak about my options, the original doctor came in and leaned against the sink with attitude asking why I wanted to speak to nurse in charge and straight said "I'm not prescribing u narcotics for pain. I can give u a crutch for ur foot and ibuprofen." Then told me to go to "Ohio state dental emergency. They have walk-ins first thing in the morning. Hopefully u can beat the homeless people and be seen. But get there early because it fills up fast"
Had a very painful biopsy with a group of medical staff who didn't have the best manners--cracking jokes & all and it was unprofessional. Its sad that in 2023 we have made so many advancements and yet still experience painful procedures. Would never return to or recommend Grady.
DO NOT GO HERE! They beyond overcharge for very simple procedures. I was charged over $2k for 6 stitches on my thumb WITH insurance. These types of practices not only make you never want to go to the hospital ever again but also make it to where you’d rather just move out of the United States. Stitches were also poorly done. They will also try to keep you longer than needed to add extra costs to the bill. Save yourself money & a headache by not going to this place.
The doctor had the wrong file! I went to Grady Memorial for preadmission testing. Dr. Siegel's nurse rolled in an EKG machine. I asked why I needed an EKG for dental surgery. She went to ask him and the reply was 'due to my age and medical history.' That didn't really answer my question so asked again. She left and returned with the same answer so I said I'd wait to discuss with him. He seemed annoyed that I was questioning him and talked over me. I waited for him to finish and again asked my question. "Well, since you're having shoulder surgery ..." I stopped him. "I'm having DENTAL surgery!" His eyes widened and he left the room. Upon returning he apologized for having the wrong file. My advice to all patients ... ask questions. Be your own advocate. The days of doctors saying jump as we patients ask 'how high' is over ... at least for me.
Looking at reviews makes me want to share my bad Emergency Room experience. Tried to overdose on some antidepressants, got scared after taking 25-30 pills and told my mom. She took me to the ER and the doctor overseeing, after questioning me while I was blantantly showing effects of the medicationSlow response, nodding off, pulled my mother aside and told her I had faked it, and that I probably flushed the pills down the toilet. She only told me this years after it happened. Very glad I have a mother that loves me enough to believe what I had done.
Worst hospital ever I live in Barberton was on my way to work in Columbus when I had to call a paramedic because of stomach pain and vomiting they literally discharged me still in pain and vomiting probably because I don't have insurance what happened to Obama care thank God I don't live in Columbus I am currently omw to a Cleveland clinic hospital
