We waited over 15 months to come to their Autism Clinic. They are worth the wait!! They were phenomenal. I would recommend to any parent hi thinks their child might have autism. They were kind, thorough, detailed, and very helpful!! We had previously went to Providence and saw Timothy Jordan at Sacred Heart Clinic and we were very disappointed. So happy we stuck out the wait and got a second opinion.
I'm sure it's great if you're not needing long term care. They are a teaching hospital and the staff are like revolving doors. I have had to pronounce and explain my medications/ conditions to more than 1 Dr and that can be a bit scary when they're supposed to be giving you answers to some serious issues. The Drs also leave and not only do they generally not assign you to another Dr, but they don't even bother to tell their patients they're leaving. This has happened 6 times to me, so I don't think it was a mixup. Beautiful views, just not great care
Great place. Friendly week day staff. Great restaurant downstairs. Labs and Dr. Offices can get extremely behind schedule. Very nice up to date building and maintained well inside and out. Much more relaxing then a typical drop in doctor clinic
Pretty sad that you wouldn’t let a disabled person with a seizure detecting service animal use your facility. You should be ashamed.
My doctor was great. Billing and estimates are terrible. The procedure I needed to have is around $5,000 out of pocket when performed by the doctor who pioneered the procedure that doctor is in Chicago. OHSU sent me an estimate for over $21,000 for the same procedure, despite my doctor telling me it would be $5,000. Get everything in writing from these guys. There's a law that they can't bill you more than $400 over what they estimated. But good luck getting an estimate because you'll be on hold forever, never get a call back, and MyChart communication takes months or is non-existent.
Writing another review so hopefully it will get noticed. 5’6 male, in scrubs, with black hair on lunch break yelled at me and my dog for walking through the park and utilizing it. Never in my life have I ever had someone who is a medical worker display mental illness and yell at me over something completely legal. I live in the neighborhood and that park is for everyone not just medical workers. Not cool
No one can stop the success of OHSU Center for Health & Healing, and all bad reviews about her are insignificant. She is the best medical center I've ever been to. The healthcare workers are all very professional and kind. Communication on MyChart has been very simple and reliable since I became a patient in 2020. It was one of the best decisions of my life. All other medical centers of the United States are irrelevant next to OHSU Center for Health & Healing. I am not interested in any other hospital
Go here. Everyone knows their job and dose it well. Everyone is in their place and it's like clock work. #1 amazing surgery experience #2 amazing phlebotomist #3 pharmacy is excellent.
The practitioners here are very good, but their billing/operations/customer service situation has devolved over the past few years. My son, husband and I have had to jump through hoops to get bills resubmitted properly to our insurance companies. Often, they simply refuse. It's as if they decide before they pick up the phone that they are going to blame the insurance company. But, our eye doctor, dermatologist and allergist are not part of OHSU, and we have never in the past 4 years had issues with billing/insurance. They continually code things as hospital visits and procedures when they are actually basic specialist visits. They always blame the insurance, even when they code an office/clinic visit as an "on-campus outpatient hospital" visit. Calling to request any sort of help is an exercise in futility. Perhaps it's a staffing/training issue. I know times are tough, but they are tough all over, and it's totally rude to make errors that result in a patient paying literally 15 times what they should have to pay out of pocket.
I’ve been to the OHSU South Waterfront Center for Health & Healing building 1 for the Dermatology Clinic on the 16th floor and Surgical Oncology on the 7th floor...every single employee from the information desk, to check in, to medical assistants, and specialists have been some of the best healthcare I’ve ever experienced!!! FYI...the 16th floor is the top floor and has an outdoor viewing deck!!! The view is absolutely breathtaking!!!
