Okito America is a fantastic place. Our grandson joined the Martial Arts Class last year. Little Dragons. The dedication from Mr. Walker and Mr Lucas to all the children is great. Our grandson motor skills have improved greatly, from day to day activities to his ability to learn self defense. The after school program is also great, very accommodating to the needs of all students. We are extremely happy with the care of Okido America Archer Rd
I highly recommend Okito America for After School and Martial Art Classes. The staff is amazing. I feel my kid is safe with them. He loves to be there. I really appreciate the good work Ms Eleine, Mrs Milan, Mr Carlos, Ms Flor, Ms Diana and Mr Marvin are doing with the students.
The Archer road location has been great. Staff has been very accommodating and easily pivots around my families hectic schedule. My children are happy. I hear nothing but good things from them. I usually have contact with Ms. Elaine. She is professional and very helpful. She also is clear about informing me of policy in a very friendly way. She is also great with my kids. Loved that. You have a great center. Keep it up.
Okito treats our child like family. We have attended summer camp and after school, both of which are equally enjoyed. The staff are great communicators and go above and beyond to work with you. I highly recommend and am so grateful we found them!
Okito America is a wonderful place to practice martial arts. My daughter has been a student since October of 2020 and my son and I joined Okito Archer in February 2022. The life lessons my children are learning are vital to their future success and the instructors are excellent examples of what the five tenants can lead to. The new location on Newberry Rd. is amazing with beautiful new equipment for martial arts classes and fantastic resources for their after-school and camp youth programs. Okito America is a regular recipient of "Best of Gainesville" awards and it is easy to see why. Highly recommended.
We started here just a bit ago. My child is autistic and it has been so helpful! She has improved confidence, fine motor skills, following multi command instructions and more. Her teacher mr. Lucas is her favorite! The install such good work ethic and morals here and are absolutely wonderful with the kids. Great family environment and activity.
Okito is a genuine and a good after-care. I am very pleased with the care and services they provide for our children. The premise is also clean and organized. I do like the ethics and morals they instill in the children too. Thank you Okito.
I love and highly recommend Okito's after school program. I am re-enrolling my daughter for her second year there. I appreciate their quick communication and trust them completely with my 6-year-old.
This is the absolute best place to send your kids. I have been trying so hard to put into words just how amazing these people are. My son broke his arm, at school, his first week in their after school program. I was so nervous sending him with his cast on. But they were incredible with him. They provided him with lots of stuff to do since he couldn’t participate in many of the group activities. He never felt left out or held back because of his cast. Once he got his cast off, I spoke to the martial arts instructor Mr.Walker, and he helped us with my sons recovery. Because of how involved he was with my son, we never had to take him to physical therapy. He got back to 98% mobility within 1 month! I give a lot of credit to Mr. Walker and his martial arts program. Ms.Eleine took him under her wing like he was her own child. She made sure everyone looked out for him, and if he needed anything he went straight to her. We LOVE Ms. Eleine! Ms. Jasmyn is his “best friend “. He absolutely adores her. He has even invited her to go fishing with him. She always has a big smile on her face even when she’s had a tough day. The entire staff at Okito America truly cares about children. I believe that is one of the most important qualities when working with kids. We love Okito and their staff members and will be returning again next year for their after school program.
I love Okito America! Mr. Walker has been amazing with my daughter. He is patient and kind. My daughter is currently a little dragon. I signed her up so that she can learn self-control, confidence, and how to protect herself. I know she will go far with Okito America and I look forward to her growth.
